If you're having trouble uploading images, try these steps to solve the issue. Often, one or a combination of these solutions will do the trick. This guide walks you through troubleshooting image upload issues on your PhotoBiz account.
Update Your System
Be sure your computer is updated to the most up to date version of your Operating System and Web Browser. In case you need help with how to find updates, here are some of the most popular providers that we see our clients using.
PRO TIP: For the best experience, we recommend using the latest version of Google Chrome when uploading images.
Clear Your Browser Cache
As you're working on updating your website, occasionally your browser will cache your page and impact what you're seeing on your builder. Clear your browser cookies and cache and restart your browser.
Check Internet Speed
You can test your internet speed for free here: https://www.speedtest.net
If your internet connection is running slow, you may want to restart your router and make sure it's also up to date with any updates that it requires.
Use .jpg or .png Images
Make sure your images are in .jpg or .png (where applicable) format only. If your images are not in one of these two formats, you can use image editing software to convert them. Simply changing the file extension will not convert the image.
Optimize Batch Size & Image Dimensions
For best results, we recommend setting your images to a height of 1730px, allowing the width to auto-adjust proportionally. This height guideline applies to both vertical and horizontal images. Ensure each image is under 4MB unless you have the Original Files premium upgrade, which allows for files up to 50MB each. Our uploader will automatically resize your images, but if you experience slow uploads or connection issues, try batch resizing your files in a program like Lightroom before uploading—this can speed up the process significantly.

Need bigger files?
If you need to be able to upload larger images than 4 MB to send to your clients, you can add the Original Files premium add-on to your account and upload files up to 50 MB in size! Click here to learn more.
Review File Names
Images with very long file names may not upload successfully with our uploader. If your file names are particularly long, consider shortening them and that should fix the issue. To ensure your images upload in the proper order, we recommend reviewing our guide on batch renaming based on the number of images you are uploading.
