Overview
PhotoBiz sends email notifications for important website and account activity, including form submissions, orders, Scheduler appointments, Client Galleries activity, Conversations, and account updates. If a notification does not appear in your inbox, your email provider may have filtered, redirected, or rejected the message.
This guide explains how to confirm that PhotoBiz received the activity, verify the notification email address, approve PhotoBiz as a trusted sender, and resolve common delivery problems. You will also learn when to contact PhotoBiz Support for help with an email address marked as non-deliverable.
Start by checking whether the submission, order, appointment, message, or other activity appears inside your PhotoBiz account.
Log in to your account and click the notification bell in the upper-right corner of the control panel. You can also open the PhotoBiz tool connected to the activity, such as Forms, ECommerce, Scheduler, Client Galleries, or Conversations.
If the activity appears in your account, PhotoBiz received it successfully. The problem is limited to the email alert and does not mean the original activity was lost.
For example, a form submission will still appear in the Forms Dashboard even when its notification email does not reach your inbox.
If the activity does not appear anywhere in your PhotoBiz account, the issue may not be related to email delivery. Contact PhotoBiz Support so the original submission or activity can be reviewed.
Make sure the notification is being sent to the correct email address.
Different PhotoBiz tools may use different notification settings. Review the settings for the feature connected to the missing notification and confirm that the email address is:
If you recently changed your email address, update it anywhere the previous address may still be selected for notifications.
Your PhotoBiz login email and the email address used for a specific notification are not always the same.
Open your email account and check any folders that may contain filtered messages, including:
If you find a PhotoBiz notification, open the message and select Not Spam, Not Junk, or Move to Inbox. The exact wording depends on your email provider.
This action helps your provider recognize that you expect to receive PhotoBiz notifications.
You should also review any inbox rules or filters you created previously. Make sure they are not automatically deleting, archiving, forwarding, or moving PhotoBiz emails to another folder.
You can create an email filter or inbox rule that directs PhotoBiz notification emails to your inbox automatically. This can help prevent your email provider from placing PhotoBiz notifications in Spam, Junk, Promotions, or another filtered folder.
Set the filter to recognize messages from:
Depending on your email provider, you may be able to choose an action such as:

PhotoBiz notification emails are sent from:
Add this address to your contacts, approved senders, or safe sender list.
When supported by your email provider, you can also approve the following sending domain:
Adding the notification address can reduce the chance that your provider will classify PhotoBiz emails as spam. Your email provider still controls how incoming messages are filtered and where they appear.
PhotoBiz uses email validation to help protect the reliability of its notification system. If your email provider rejects a message, your address may be marked as non-deliverable.
When this happens, PhotoBiz may stop sending additional notification emails to the address until the delivery problem is corrected and the address is reviewed.
Common reasons an email address may become non-deliverable include:
Contact PhotoBiz Support if you complete the troubleshooting steps in this guide and still do not receive notifications. The Support team can check whether your email address has been marked as non-deliverable.
Before the address is restored, correct the original delivery problem. If your email provider rejects another PhotoBiz notification, the address may be marked as non-deliverable again.
Business, school, government, and corporate email accounts may use security systems that filter notification email messages before they reach your inbox.
If you cannot find the notification in Spam, Junk, or another filtered folder, contact the person who manages your email service. Ask them to approve the following sender and domain:
Your email administrator may also need to review a server-level quarantine or security log.
After updating your email settings, perform a test using the PhotoBiz feature connected to the missing notification.
For example, you can:
Check your inbox, Spam folder, and other filtered folders for the new notification.
Use a test action that does not create an unwanted live order or payment.
Why can I see the activity in PhotoBiz but not in my email?
PhotoBiz received the activity, but your email provider filtered, redirected, or rejected the email alert. Check your filtered folders, confirm the notification email address, and add PhotoBiz as an approved sender.
Was my form submission or order lost?
No. The email is only an alert and is separate from the original activity. Open the appropriate PhotoBiz Dashboard to view the form submission, order, appointment, comment, or message.
What does non-deliverable mean?
Non-deliverable means that an email provider rejected a previous PhotoBiz message. PhotoBiz may pause future delivery attempts to prevent repeated rejected messages.
Will adding PhotoBiz to my contacts guarantee delivery?
No. Adding PhotoBiz to your contacts or approved senders can improve delivery, but your email provider still controls its spam filters and inbox placement.
Can PhotoBiz control whether an email goes to spam?
PhotoBiz follows email delivery standards, but your email provider makes the final decision about where a message appears. Adding the notification address to your approved senders and creating an inbox rule can improve future delivery.
Do PhotoBiz notification emails include an unsubscribe option?
No. PhotoBiz notification emails do not include an unsubscribe option. They are sent to alert you about website and account activity.
