Overview
PhotoBiz Mailbox gives you a professional email address using your domain, such as you@yourdomain.com. You can access your Mailbox through webmail or connect it to an email application on your smartphone, tablet, or desktop computer.
This guide is a setup hub for choosing the correct email client instructions for your device or email software. Select the option that matches the app you want to use, then follow that guide to connect your PhotoBiz Mailbox using IMAP.
Before setting up your PhotoBiz Mailbox in an email application, make sure you have the following information ready:
Your Mailbox login may be different from the email address and password you use to log in to your main PhotoBiz account.
You do not have to set up an email application to use your PhotoBiz Mailbox. You can access your email directly through webmail at:
Webmail works from any current web browser and lets you send, receive, and manage your email online. It is also the best place to confirm that your Mailbox email address and password are working before adding your account to an email application.
Select the guide that matches the device or email application you want to use.
Each email application may use slightly different labels during setup. For best results, use the guide that matches your exact device or email software.
When setting up your Mailbox in an email application, your username should be your full Mailbox email address.
For example, enter you@yourdomain.com instead of only entering you.
Your Mailbox password is case-sensitive. Capitalization, spacing, or typing errors can prevent your account from connecting.
PhotoBiz Mailbox should be set up using IMAP. IMAP keeps your email synced across webmail, your phone, tablet, and computer.
Some email applications may automatically detect your Mailbox settings. If automatic setup does not work, use the manual IMAP setup instructions for your email app.
Login Does Not Work
If your email application does not accept your login, first try logging in through webmail at https://mailbox.photobiz.com.
If webmail works, your Mailbox email address and password are correct. The issue is likely related to the settings entered in your email application.
If webmail does not work, double-check that you are entering your full Mailbox email address and the correct Mailbox password.
Email App Says the Username or Password Is Incorrect
Make sure the username is your full Mailbox email address. Many email applications automatically fill in only the first part of the email address, which can cause login errors.
For example, use you@yourdomain.com instead of only you.
Messages Are Not Syncing
If messages are not syncing after setup, restart your email application and check your internet connection.
You can also remove and re-add the account using the correct setup guide for your device or email program.
Automatic Setup Does Not Work
If your email application cannot automatically find the correct settings, choose the manual IMAP setup option and enter the Mailbox server settings provided in the setup guide for your device or email software.
You Recently Changed Your Mailbox Password
If you recently changed your Mailbox password, update the password on every device and email application where the Mailbox is connected.
If one device continues using the old password, it may keep showing connection errors until the saved password is updated.
