Google has announced that Gmail will fully discontinue Send as for third-party email accounts in January 2027. This includes using a non-Google email address, such as your PhotoBiz Mailbox address, as a sending address from your primary Gmail account.
Google may restrict new Send as configurations during the transition period before January 2027. Existing configurations can continue to work while the feature remains available.
Email forwarding is not being discontinued. You can continue forwarding messages from your PhotoBiz Mailbox to your Gmail inbox after January 2027.

Receiving and Sending Use Different Connections
Incoming and outgoing email use separate settings with this Gmail configuration.
Your PhotoBiz Mailbox forwards incoming messages to Gmail. Gmail's Send mail as feature uses the PhotoBiz outgoing mail server to send messages from your PhotoBiz address.
Because these connections are separate, you can continue receiving forwarded messages in Gmail even if Gmail cannot send from your PhotoBiz address.
Keep a Copy in Your PhotoBiz Mailbox
Keeping a copy of forwarded messages in your PhotoBiz Mailbox gives you another way to access your incoming email if you experience a problem with Gmail.
Using the Gmail App on iPhone or iPad
The Gmail mobile app allows you to add your PhotoBiz Mailbox directly as a separate email account using IMAP. This is different from using the Send mail as feature in Gmail on the web.

Options After January 2027
After Gmail removes third-party Send as, you can continue forwarding incoming PhotoBiz Mailbox messages to Gmail.
To send email from your PhotoBiz Mailbox address, you can use:
PhotoBiz Mailbox webmail
A compatible desktop email application using IMAP and SMTP
Your PhotoBiz Mailbox added directly to the Gmail mobile app
Google also recommends using your email provider's webmail or a desktop email client when transitioning away from Send as.
Why can I receive PhotoBiz Mailbox messages in Gmail but cannot send from my PhotoBiz address?
Forwarding and sending are separate. Your PhotoBiz Mailbox may continue forwarding messages to Gmail even if Gmail cannot authenticate with the outgoing PhotoBiz Mailbox server.
Check the password and SMTP settings saved in Gmail.
What are the PhotoBiz Mailbox outgoing server settings?
Use the following settings:
SMTP Server: secure.emailsrvr.com
Port: 465
Security: SSL
Username: Your full PhotoBiz Mailbox email address
Password: Your current PhotoBiz Mailbox password
What if I recently changed my PhotoBiz Mailbox password?
Gmail does not automatically receive your new PhotoBiz Mailbox password. If you change your Mailbox password, you must also update the password Gmail uses for your PhotoBiz address.
You should also update the password on any other phones, computers, tablets, or email applications connected to the same Mailbox.
What does a 535 5.7.8 authentication failed error mean?
A 535 5.7.8 Error: authentication failed message means Gmail was unable to authenticate with the outgoing PhotoBiz Mailbox server using the credentials saved for your address.
Confirm that you can log into your PhotoBiz Mailbox using the same email address and password. If your Mailbox login works, review the SMTP server, port, username, and password saved in Gmail.
Can I still use Gmail with my PhotoBiz Mailbox after January 2027?
You can continue forwarding incoming PhotoBiz Mailbox email to your Gmail inbox.
Gmail will no longer support using your PhotoBiz Mailbox as a third-party Send as address from your primary Gmail account beginning in January 2027.
The Gmail mobile app will continue supporting third-party email accounts added directly to the app. You can also use PhotoBiz Mailbox webmail or another compatible email application.
Is PhotoBiz making this change?
No. The discontinuation of third-party Send as is a change being made by Google to Gmail.
PhotoBiz Mailbox itself is not being discontinued. You can continue sending and receiving email through PhotoBiz Mailbox and other supported email applications.
