If you are a PhotoBiz Mailbox email user but you prefer to use your Gmail account to manage your email, this guide will walk you through the steps to forward your email to an existing Gmail inbox and to be able to reply to emails from your PhotoBiz Mailbox email address.
In this guide, we are using support@photobizlovesme.com as an example PhotoBiz Mailbox email address that we want to integrate with a Gmail account. For your set up, you'll want to use your own PhotoBiz Mailbox email address and password information.
Please Note: PhotoBiz is not affiliated with Gmail, our support team can help you get your forwarding set up, but for specific questions about Gmail functionality, you'll need to use their support tools.
STEP ONE
Log into your Gmail account and navigate to the SETTINGS icon.
Log into your Gmail account, click on the SETTINGS gear on the right side, and click on the SEE ALL SETTINGS button.
STEP TWO
Click on the ACCOUNTS tab in your list of options.
STEP THREE
Scroll down and click on ADD A MAIL ACCOUNT next to "Check mail from other accounts"
STEP FOUR
A pop-up will appear that requests you enter the email address you wish to setup in your Gmail.
Enter your PhotoBiz Mailbox email address in the field provided and click NEXT.
STEP FIVE
Complete the following fields:
- Username: Your PhotoBiz Mailbox Email Address
- Password: Your PhotoBiz Mailbox Email Password
- POP Server: secure.emailsrvr.com
- Port: 995
- Checkbox - Leave a copy of retrieved message on the server
- Checkbox - Always use a secure connection (SSL) when retrieving mail
The other options are optional based on your desired configurations. You can click here to learn more about these options from Gmail.
Once you've completed the fields above, click the "Add Account" button. You'll have a confirmation message that this has been completed successfully!
The next steps are optional for if you prefer to send an email from your Gmail as your PhotoBiz Mailbox email address.
STEP SIX (Optional)
Sending Email from Gmail with your PhotoBiz Mailbox email address
STEP SEVEN (Optional)
Enter the name you wish to display when users receive emails from you in the Name field.
This is typically your first and last name or your company name. When you add another address to your Gmail account for sending messages, Gmail typically treats it the same as your original Gmail address (as an alias for that address).
If you’re sending on behalf of another user, you might want to uncheck the Treat as an alias box. If you wish to treat this as an alias, check the provided box.

To send emails from your PhotoBiz Mailbox instead of your Gmail email address, click on the link that says "specify a different 'reply to' address" and enter your PhotoBiz Mailbox email address in the new field provided. Click Next Step.
STEP EIGHT (Optional)
Complete the following fields:
- SMTP Server: secure.emailsrvr.com
- Port: 465
- Username: Your PhotoBiz Mailbox email address
- Password: Your PhotoBiz Mailbox email password
- Select: Secured connection using SSL
Once you've completed these fields, click on the Add Account
IMPORTANT: The next step will send you a confirmation email that contains a clickable link OR a verification code. You'll need to log into your PhotoBiz Mailbox to either click the link OR copy/paste the code. Be sure to open another browser window to complete the next step.
STEP NINE (Optional)
Gmail will send you a confirmation code to your PhotoBiz Mailbox Email
Login to your PhotoBiz Mailbox's webmail interface at mailbox.photobiz.com
You'll see an email similar to the one below that contains a confirmation link that you can click on OR if you prefer, a confirmation code to copy/paste in your Gmail account.
STEP TEN (Optional)
Enter Your Confirmation Code
You can click the link in the email Gmail sent you OR copy/paste the code and click on the Verify button.
Once you've got this verified, you'll complete the verification and the window will close.
This completes setting up the ability to both receive AND send emails using your PhotoBiz Mailbox email address from your Gmail account.
Your PhotoBiz Mailbox email address will now show in a drop-down menu in your outbound emails from webmail giving the option to send.
STEP ELEVEN (Optional)
Automatically Default To Reply From Same Address
You can access the ACCOUNT section in your settings again and set the option for "Reply from the same address the message was sent to" in the settings area. This will ensure that if you reply to any messages in your webmail, it will reply from the same address that received it.
You're all set! You can now send and receive emails from your Gmail interface using your Photobiz Mailbox email address.
