If your website is on an updated version of PhotoBiz (PhotoBiz 9 or higher) and your domain’s DNS is managed through AWS Route 53, you can add or update your DNS records directly from your PhotoBiz account.
Common DNS records include:
IMPORTANT: This feature is only available if your domain uses AWS (Route 53) name servers. If your domain is still on our legacy Rackspace name servers, you won’t see the DNS management option.
Log in to PhotoBiz and Open Domain Settings
Open the DNS Zone Editor
Add a New DNS Record
Select the type of record you need to add.
Supported Record Types:
| Type | Description |
|---|---|
| A Record | Points your domain to a specific IP address |
| CNAME | Redirects one domain name to another |
| MX Record | Directs email to your mail server |
| TXT Record | Commonly used for verification and email authentication (e.g., SPF, DKIM, DMARC) |
| SRV Record | Used for advanced services like VoIP or messaging |
Be Careful: Entering DNS records incorrectly can cause issues with your website, email, or other connected services. Only make changes if you have clear instructions from a trusted provider.

Most updates go live within a few minutes, but full propagation across the internet can take up to 48 hours.
