Your PhotoBiz ECommerce account allows you to sell products through your website and Client Galleries. This guide will walk you through the steps of setting up a product for sale.
STEP ONE
Log into your PhotoBiz account and click on ECOMMERCE in left side menu.
STEP TWO
Mouse over the SELL ONLINE option at the top of your control panel and click on PRODUCTS in the drop down menu.
STEP THREE
Click on the NEW PRODUCT button to create a new product.
Pro Tip: You can create products in product categories to organize them, you can drag and drop a product to a different category after it is created as well.
STEP FOUR
You can enter the following details for your product:
- Product Name: this will be the product name that appears online for your clients to select and purchase.
- Description: this will give your clients a description of the product that they're purchasing.
- Price: the amount of the product you're offering and what the clients will be paying for at check out.
- Charge Tax: whether or not you're collecting sales tax on this product.
- Charge Shipping: whether or not you're applying your shipping rates to this product.
- Additional Shipping Cost: if this product has additional shipping charged on top of the regular shipping rate.
- Active: whether or not this product is currently active and available for purchase on your website.
Once you have entered in the product details, click the create product button.
STEP FIVE
After you create a product additional options to edit and modify your product become available.
- IMAGES: Add images to display your product.

- OPTIONS: Give shoppers options for purchasing your products such such as colors, finishes, style, size, etc.

- PHOTO REQUIREMENTS: If you are selling a product that people can select an image to be printed on, you can set a minimum and maximum number of images which may be selected for your Product.
How to Set Up Product Photo Requirements - ADD-ONS: This allows you to set up products that allow your clients to add additional images for an additional fee to your products.
- DIGITAL DOWNLOAD: Set up files that customers can download after they purchase the product, such as downloadable eBooks.
How to Set Up Digital Product Downloads - STOCK: Track your products, and quantity you have available in your inventory. You can set an initial quantity for your product, and then update it as needed.
How To Set Up Stock Tracking on Products
- SEO & SEARCH: Customize keywords that people can use to find your product on your site, plus meta data for search engines.
- TAGS: Tag products so that you can easily pull a list of any customers who have purchased a specific product from you. You can also send out a targeted email campaign to anyone tagged with the product tag as well.
Adding Product Images
You can easily add images of the products you're offering for sale on your website and client galleries. Click on the image tab and you can upload new product images, insert existing clipboard images, or use our stock image library.
Once you've added images, you can click on the image thumbnail to add a title, caption, or alt text to your product images.
