With PhotoBiz ECommerce, you can organize your products by putting them into different categories. This makes it easy for your customers to find what they want whether you're selling products through your website or through client galleries. This guide will show you how to create product categories.
STEP ONE
Log into your PhotoBiz account and click on ECOMMERCE in the left side menu.
STEP TWO
Mouse over the SELL ONLINE option at the top of your ECommerce control panel and click on PRODUCTS in the drop down menu that appears.
STEP THREE
Click on the NEW CATEGORY button.
STEP FOUR
Enter a new category name.
STEP FIVE
You can add a category image in this section to be associated with the category. This will be visible at the category level in your Product Block if you're displaying your products on your website. You can upload a new image, use an image from your image clipboard, or use a stock image. You can also add alt text to your category image in this section.
STEP SIX
You can also edit meta data for the products category. The seo & search on the side of this section will allow you to edit and enter relevant meta information. This will help your clients search for your products and categories on your site.
Once you have completed adding your category, you have the ability to modify the name of the category and image by clicking on the paper icon to the left of the category name. You can delete the category by clicking on the trash can icon to the left of the category name.
Note: You must delete or move all products associated with a category before you can delete the category.
