Overview
PhotoBiz Client Galleries allow you to share images with your clients through private, password-protected events. While adding a password is optional, it’s a simple and effective way to control who can access each gallery.
In this guide, you’ll learn how passwords work, why each event needs a unique password, and how your clients will use them to access their images.
Passwords add an extra layer of privacy to your Client Galleries.
When enabled, your clients can visit your Client Galleries login page (typically formatted like yourdomain.com/proofing), enter their password, and be taken directly to their event.

Each Client Gallery event must have its own unique password.
This is important because the login page uses the password to determine which gallery to open. If multiple events shared the same password, the system would not know which gallery to display.

If you choose not to use passwords, clients can still access their gallery using other methods:

When you preview a Client Gallery from inside your PhotoBiz control panel, password, email requirements, and email automations are automatically bypassed.
This happens because you are logged in as the account owner.
Your clients will still be required to enter a password or email address if those settings are enabled on the event.

Simply share your Client Galleries login page link along with your client’s unique password. They can enter it once and go straight to their event without needing to manage multiple links.
