If you are experiencing difficulty with uploading your images, there are a number of things you can try. Very often one or a combination of the following will solve the problem.
Batch and Image Size
For best results, we recommend that your images have a height of 1730px, letting the width proporionally auto-adjust. The height of 1730px applies to both vertical and horizontal images. Each image should be under 4MB. Our uploader automatically will resize your images for you, however, if you are experiencing slow uploading or connection issues, conducting a batch resize of your files in a program such as Lightroom prior to uploading can expedite the process significantly. When uploading, we recommend using Google Chrome. Make sure you have the most current version of Google Chrome installed on your machine and are physically clicked into the browser window while uploading. We not recommend uploading from multiple browser tabs at once. Internet Explorer should be avoided, as this browser no longer receives essential updates from Microsoft that could lead to security risks.
Images with very long file names may not upload successfully with our uploader. If your file names are particularly long, consider shortening them and that should fix the issue. To ensure your images upload in the proper order, we recommend reviewing our guide on batch renaming based on the number of images you are uploading.
Make sure your images are in .jpg or .png (where applicable) format only. If your images are not in one of these two formats, you can use image editing software such as Photoshop or GIMP to convert them. Simply changing the file extension will not convert the image.
Clear Browser Cache
If you've been working on your site for awhile or have worked on multiple pages within your site, your browser cache can hold on to old/incorrect information. While the purpose of this is to help speed up your browsing experience, it can get in the way when you are updating information more frequently than the browser is checking for new information.
