How to Set Up a Product for Sale in PhotoBiz ECommerce
With PhotoBiz ECommerce, you can easily sell products on your website and in Client Galleries. This guide will walk you through the steps to set up a product for sale.
STEP ONE
Log into your PhotoBiz account and click on ECOMMERCE in the left-side menu.
STEP TWO
Mouse over the SELL ONLINE option at the top of your control panel and select PRODUCTS from the dropdown menu.
STEP THREE
Click on the NEW PRODUCT button to create a new product.
Pro Tip: You can create products in product categories to organize them, you can drag and drop a product to a different category after it is created as well.
STEP FOUR
Enter the following details for your product:
- Product Name: The name of the product as it will appear online.
- Description: A description of the product to help your clients understand what they are purchasing.
- Price: The amount your clients will pay at checkout.
- Charge Tax: Whether or not you want to collect sales tax on this product.
- Charge Shipping: Whether shipping charges will apply to this product.
- Additional Shipping Cost: If this product has additional shipping charges beyond the regular rate.
- Minimum Photos: If you’re selling products through client galleries that require a minimum number of images to complete the product.
- Maximum Photos: If you’re selling products through client galleries that have a maximum number of images that can be selected to complete the product.

Once you’ve entered all the details, click the Create Product button.
STEP FIVE
After creating your product, you’ll have additional options to customize and enhance your product listing:
- IMAGES: Add images to showcase your product.

- OPTIONS: Offer variations of your product, such as colors, sizes, or styles.

- ADD-ONS: Allow your clients to add extra items to their order, such as additional images or products.
- DIGITAL DOWNLOAD: Set up files that customers can download after purchasing a product (e.g., eBooks, PDFs).

- STOCK: Keep track of the quantity of each product you have in inventory. You can set an initial quantity and update it as needed.

- SEO & SEARCH: Add keywords and meta data to help search engines find your product and improve its visibility on your website.
- TAGS: Tag your products to make it easier to organize and track. You can also use tags to send targeted email campaigns to clients who’ve purchased specific products.
Adding Product Images
You can easily add images of the products you're offering for sale on your website and Client Galleries. Click on the Image tab to upload new product images, insert existing clipboard images, or use our stock image library.
Once you’ve added images, click on the image thumbnail to add a title, caption, or alt text to your product images.
