Overview
Your website header helps visitors recognize your business and navigate your site. Depending on your template, it may display a logo, navigation menu, Site Links, social media icons, search icon, or shopping cart icon. You can edit these elements in different areas of the PhotoBiz Website Builder. This guide helps you find the right setting for the change you want to make.
Log in to your PhotoBiz account and click WEBSITE in the left-side menu. This opens the Website Builder, where you can manage your pages and website design.
Choose the part of your header you want to change:
Logo: Click DESIGN, then EDIT DESIGN SETTINGS to manage the logo used on your website. You can use your account branding logo or upload a custom logo for your website. See How to Change Your Logo on Your Website for the full steps, including the option to add a Compact Logo for mobile visitors.
Navigation Menu: To change the name visitors see for a page, click the pencil icon beside that page in the Website Builder’s left menu and edit its NAVIGATION NAME. You can also open the page’s PAGE SETTINGS to change NAVIGATION NAME or PAGE VISIBILITY. To change the order of menu items, drag pages into the order you want. See How to Customize Page Settings for more options.
Colors and Fonts: Click DESIGN, then EDIT DESIGN SETTINGS to open your global design options. The website colors guide and website fonts guide explain the available settings.
Site Links: Click SITE LINKS / ICONS in the Website Builder’s left panel to add or edit links, such as a contact link or phone number. See How to Add or Update Site Links for the full steps.
Social Media icons: Click SITE LINKS / ICONS in the Website Builder’s left panel to manage links to your social profiles. See How to Add Social Media Icons for the full steps.
Search and Shopping Cart icons: Follow How to Add a Search Bar and Shopping Cart Icon to review their display options.
Save the changes in the setting you edited, then visit your website on a desktop computer and a mobile device. Check that your logo is clear, your menu names fit, and your links open the intended destinations. Saved Website Builder changes appear on your live site without a separate publish step.
Your template controls the header’s overall layout and where its elements appear. For example, a Site Link or social media icon may appear in a different location depending on your template.
If you want to hide the entire header on one page, open that page’s PAGE SETTINGS and change DISPLAY HEADER. This does not change the header on your other pages.
If your logo has a solid background you want to remove, the free PhotoBiz Logo Background Remover can help you prepare a transparent PNG for your website.
