Overview
Your PhotoBiz account includes a Files section where you can upload and manage video files used throughout your website and account. If you no longer need a video, you can delete it from the Videos area of your Files control panel.
This guide walks you through how to permanently delete a video file from your PhotoBiz account. Deleting a video cannot be undone, so you should only delete a video if you are sure you no longer need it.
Deleting a video permanently removes the file from your PhotoBiz account. This action cannot be undone.
If the video is being used on your website, blog, or another part of your PhotoBiz account, it will no longer be available after deletion. You will need to upload the video again if you want to use it later.
Video files larger than 4 MB require the Original Files upgrade. If you cancel Original Files, any video files larger than 4 MB will also be removed from the Videos section because they exceed the standard Website Package file size limit.
Log into your PhotoBiz account and click FILES in the left-side menu.
This will open the Files area of your account, where you can manage images, documents, videos, and other uploaded files.
At the top of your Files control panel, click VIDEOS.
This will display the video files currently uploaded to your PhotoBiz account.
Find the video file you want to delete. Check the box to the left of the video file name.
Make sure you select the correct video before continuing. Once the file is deleted, it cannot be restored from your account.
Click DELETE.
A confirmation panel will open on the right side of your screen. Click YES to confirm that you want to permanently delete the selected video file from your account.
After the video is deleted, it will be removed from the Videos section and will no longer be available anywhere it was being used in your PhotoBiz account.
If you are deleting videos to free up file storage, removing a video will clear that file from your account.
If you are not sure whether a video is still being used on your website, review any pages, blog posts, or blocks where the video may have been added before deleting it.
If your video file is larger than 4 MB, it can only remain in your account while the Original Files upgrade is active. Canceling Original Files removes files that exceed the standard Website Package limit, including large video files stored in the Videos section.
Can I recover a deleted video?
No. Deleted video files cannot be recovered. You will need to upload the video again if you want to use it later.
What happens if the video is being used on my website?
If the video is deleted, it will no longer be available where it was previously used. You may need to remove or replace the video on the page, blog post, or block where it appeared.
Why did a large video disappear after canceling Original Files?
The standard PhotoBiz Website Package allows files up to 4 MB. The Original Files upgrade allows files up to 50 MB. If you cancel Original Files, files larger than 4 MB are removed from your account, including video files stored in the Videos section.
