How to Sync Your PhotoBiz Scheduler with Apple Calendar

The PhotoBiz Scheduler allows clients to book sessions directly through your website. You can connect your Scheduler calendar to Apple Calendar so new bookings automatically appear alongside your other events.

This guide shows you how to subscribe to your PhotoBiz Scheduler calendar using Apple Calendar on your computer. Once connected, your scheduled appointments will appear automatically in Apple Calendar.

Keep in mind that this is a one-way sync. Changes made in Apple Calendar will not update your PhotoBiz Scheduler.

Important to Know

  • This connection is a one-way sync. Changes made in Apple Calendar will not update your PhotoBiz Scheduler.
  • The calendar feed includes appointments scheduled up to one year in advance.
  • Updates may take a short time to appear depending on Apple Calendar’s refresh timing.

If you use a different calendar platform, see:

Sync with Outlook Calendar

STEP ONE

Log into your PhotoBiz account and click SCHEDULER in the left-hand menu.

This opens the Scheduler control panel where you manage bookings, availability, and calendar settings.

STEP TWO

Copy your Scheduler calendar feed link.

At the top of the Scheduler control panel, click CALENDAR FEED.

Highlight the calendar feed link displayed on the screen and copy it. You will paste this link into Apple Calendar in the next steps.

STEP THREE

Open Apple Calendar on your computer.

In the Apple Calendar menu at the top of your screen, click File, then choose New Calendar Subscription.

A window will open asking for the calendar subscription URL.

STEP FOUR

Add your PhotoBiz calendar feed.

Paste the calendar feed link you copied from your PhotoBiz Scheduler into the subscription field. Click Subscribe to connect the calendar.

Apple Calendar will now begin importing your scheduled appointments from PhotoBiz.

FINAL STEP

Configure your Apple Calendar settings.

Apple Calendar will prompt you to name the calendar, choose a color, and adjust refresh settings. After saving these settings, your PhotoBiz Scheduler appointments will begin appearing automatically in Apple Calendar.

New bookings created through your PhotoBiz Scheduler will continue syncing to Apple Calendar as they are scheduled.

ADDITIONAL TIPS

Sync Timing

Apple Calendar checks subscribed calendars periodically. It may take some time before newly scheduled sessions appear.

Managing Appointments

Always reschedule or cancel appointments directly inside your PhotoBiz Scheduler. Changes made inside Apple Calendar will not sync back to PhotoBiz.
