Cancel a Client’s Appointment in the PhotoBiz Scheduler
Managing appointments efficiently is crucial for any business. With PhotoBiz Scheduler, you can quickly cancel a client’s appointment while keeping them informed.
IMPORTANT NOTE:
If the appointment includes a payment or deposit, a refund is not issued automatically. You must log in to your connected merchant account to manually process any refund.
STEP ONE
Log into your PhotoBiz account and click SCHEDULER in the left-side menu.
STEP TWO
Open your appointment list: at the top of the Scheduler control panel, hover over TRACKING and click APPOINTMENTS.
Use the calendar to locate the correct appointment, then click the Service/Time to open its details.
STEP THREE
Review the appointment details (service, client, amount paid, notes). If everything looks correct, click CANCEL.
FINAL STEP
Read the Appointment Cancellation confirmation carefully and click Yes, cancel this appointment.
What the confirmation explains:

You’re about to cancel the appointment; this cannot be undone.

If an online payment was made, no refund is issued automatically. Refunds must be processed through your merchant account.

Canceling frees up the time slot for booking again.
What Happens Next

Reporting: The appointment appears as Canceled in your Appointments report.
Client Notification
Your client automatically receives a cancellation email at the email address they used on file to schedule the appointment.
