How to Create a Free QR Code Using Google Chrome
QR codes are a quick and easy way for people to scan with their phone and instantly open a web page — perfect for sharing your website, gallery, form, landing page, or anything else online. With just a few clicks, you can create a QR code for any link using Google Chrome.
📝 Note: In this example, we’ll use PhotoBiz.com — but when you create your own, be sure to use the web address you want people to visit!
STEP ONE
Open Google Chrome
Make sure you have the latest version of Google Chrome installed on your device.
STEP TWO
Go to the Web Page You Want to Share
In the address bar, type or paste the link you want your QR code to open. This could be:
- Your website homepage
- A landing page
- A Client Galleries Event
- A contact form
- Any page with a valid web address
STEP THREE
Create the QR Code
- Click the More icon (the three vertical dots in the top-right corner of Chrome).
- Hover over Cast, Save, and Share.
- Select Create QR Code.
FINAL STEP
Download Your QR Code
Click the Download button to save your QR code as a PNG image.
You can now use this image on print materials, social media, business cards — anywhere you want to make it easy for people to scan and connect!
