How to Offer a Retouched Print Size and Deliver a Digital File to Your Customer
Using PhotoBiz ECommerce & Client Galleries
If you offer prints that include retouching and want to send a digital copy of the final image to your client, PhotoBiz makes it easy. Follow the steps below to set it up in your ECommerce store and deliver the file through your Client Galleries.
STEP ONE
Log Into ECommerce
Log into your PhotoBiz account and click ECOMMERCE from the left-hand menu.
This opens your control panel where you can manage your products, pricing, and orders.
STEP TWO
Access Print Sizes
Click on SELL ONLINE, then choose PRINTS from the drop-down menu.
STEP THREE
Create a New Print Size
Click the NEW PRINT SIZE button.
You’ll use this to create a custom print size for your retouched print + digital delivery.
STEP FOUR
Set Up the Retouched Print Size
Fill out the details for your custom print:
- Print Size Name – Example: “8x10 Retouched + Digital Copy”
- Price – Include your time for retouching and the value of the digital file
- Status – Set it to Active so it’s available for purchase
- Additional Shipping – Optional, for oversized or specialty prints
Click ADD PRINT SIZE to save your product.
STEP FIVE
Deliver the Retouched Digital File
After a client places an order:
Retouch the image in your editing software
Upload the final version to a new gallery in the same Client Galleries event
Send the client a link to download their retouched digital images.
What Your Clients Will See
Once you've sent the download link, your clients will receive an email with a link to download their digital images in a .zip file. The download link is valid for 7 days.
