Form Submit Button Not Working? How to Reset Google reCAPTCHA Keys

Overview

If the Submit button on your PhotoBiz forms is not working, replacing your Google reCAPTCHA keys can resolve the issue.

This guide walks you through creating new reCAPTCHA keys in Google, adding them to your PhotoBiz account, enabling Google alerts, and testing your form. Follow the steps below in order.

Google reCAPTCHA is used with submissions through your PhotoBiz website, including contact forms, contracts, scheduler requests, and other website forms.

STEP ONE

Go to the Google reCAPTCHA admin page and log in with your Google account.

Enter a Label for the reCAPTCHA profile, such as your website or business name. Under reCAPTCHA Type, select Challenge (v2), then select Invisible reCAPTCHA badge.

Enter your website domain under Domains, then click Submit.

STEP TWO

Google will generate a Site Key and Secret Key for your website.

Keep this page open. You will need both keys when you update your PhotoBiz account.

STEP THREE

Open a new browser tab and log in to your PhotoBiz account. Hover over the left-side menu and click MY ACCOUNT.

STEP FOUR

Hover over SETTINGS in the top menu and click SPAM PROTECTION.

STEP FIVE

Return to the Google reCAPTCHA tab you left open and copy your Site Key and Secret Key.

Return to PhotoBiz and paste each key into the corresponding field under SPAM PROTECTION. Scroll down and click SAVE CHANGES.

STEP SIX

Return to the Google reCAPTCHA tab. Now that your keys have been added to PhotoBiz, click Go To Settings.

STEP SEVEN

Select SEND ALERTS TO OWNERS, then save your changes.

This allows Google to notify you if it detects a problem with your reCAPTCHA configuration or suspicious activity. These alerts can help you know when your reCAPTCHA settings may need attention in the future.

FINAL STEP

Visit your live website and open a page that contains a form. Complete the form and click Submit.

If the form submits successfully, your new Google reCAPTCHA keys are working.

If the form still does not submit after replacing the keys, contact PhotoBiz Support for help.

Additional Helpful Notes

  • If you recently changed your website domain, you may need new reCAPTCHA keys for the current domain.
  • Make sure you copy the Site Key and Secret Key into the matching fields in PhotoBiz.
  • Keep your Secret Key private. Do not include it in screenshots or share it publicly.
  • You can also adjust the security level in your Google reCAPTCHA settings. For instructions, see How to Adjust Security Preferences in Google reCAPTCHA.
  • PhotoBiz is not affiliated with Google or Google reCAPTCHA. For help with your Google account or reCAPTCHA settings outside of PhotoBiz, visit the Google reCAPTCHA documentation.
