The PhotoBiz Form & Contract builder is included with all PhotoBiz Websites and has built in features to help you stop spammers. If you get a spam message through your forms, you can easily block that sender from future submissions. This guide will walk you through the steps of blocking individual senders from completing your forms.
STEP ONE
Log into your PhotoBiz account and click on the notifications icon on the upper right side of your control panel.
STEP TWO
The notification center will open on the right side, click on the Name or Email in the From/Date column to open the sender details.
STEP THREE
Click on the BLOCK SENDER button.
FINAL STEP
Choose how you'd like to block the sender. You can choose from the following options:
- (RECOMMENDED METHOD) EMAIL ADDRESS: Blocks the spammer from using the same email address on any of your forms in the future.
- DOMAIN: Use this setting with caution, blocks any email address from a certain domain from sending a submission to you. (Example: if you block gmail.com domain, then anyone with an @gmail.com email address will not be able to submit your forms.)
- IP ADDRESS: Blocks any spammer at the specific IP address from submitting your forms.
Once you’ve made your selection, you can click the “yes, block sender” button to put the block in place and avoid future messages from the spammer.
You can also check your spam policies to see any blocks you have in place from your Policy Settings area in your control panel at any time.
