Overview
If you are using Google reCAPTCHA with your PhotoBiz forms, you can adjust the security level to better control spam submissions. These settings determine how strict reCAPTCHA is when evaluating form activity.
Increasing the security level helps block more spam, while lowering it can make it easier for real visitors to submit your forms. In this guide, you will learn how to access your reCAPTCHA settings and adjust the security preference slider for the best balance between protection and usability.
Spam activity can change over time as bots become more advanced. If your security level is set too low, more spam may get through. If it is set too high, legitimate clients may have trouble submitting your forms.
Adjusting your reCAPTCHA settings allows you to maintain strong protection without disrupting real inquiries.
Log Into Your Google reCAPTCHA Account
Go to the Google reCAPTCHA Admin Console and sign in using the same Google account connected to your PhotoBiz forms. This will take you to your reCAPTCHA dashboard where all your site keys and settings are managed.
Open Your reCAPTCHA Settings
Once inside your dashboard, locate the gear icon (⚙️) in the top-right corner of the screen. Click this icon to open your reCAPTCHA settings panel, where you can control your security preferences.
Adjust Your Security Preferences
Use the Security Preference slider to choose your desired level of protection. Moving the slider to the right increases security and blocks more spam activity. Moving it to the left makes the form less strict and easier for users to submit.
After adjusting the slider, click Save Changes at the bottom of the page to apply your updates. Your new settings will take effect immediately.
