If your photography website is not appearing in Google search results, it does not necessarily mean something is broken.
PhotoBiz websites are built with search engine best practices already in place. When a site does not appear in Google, the cause is typically related to indexing, content, or timing, not the platform itself.
This guide walks you through the most common reasons a website may not appear in search results and how to troubleshoot each one.
Check if your website is indexed.
Go to Google and search for:
site:yourdomain.com
(Replace yourdomain.com with your actual domain.)
This search shows the pages Google has indexed for your website.
If results appear: Google has already indexed part (or all) of your site.
If no results appear: Your website or specific pages may not be indexed yet.
If only your homepage appears, Google may still be processing the rest of your pages.
Verify Your Domain in Google Search Console
Google Search Console allows you to confirm that Google can properly crawl and index your website.
Log into Google Search Console and verify your website using the Domain property option.
If your DNS is managed by PhotoBiz, verification is completed by adding a TXT record in your PhotoBiz DNS settings.
Once verified:
Open the Page Indexing report.
Review whether pages are:
Indexed
Crawled but not indexed
Excluded due to an error
Blocked by a setting
If your domain is not verified, Google cannot provide accurate indexing data.

Review and Customize Your SEO Settings
PhotoBiz pages automatically use Auto SEO, which generates meta information based on your site name and page content. While this is a strong starting point, customized SEO often improves performance.
To review your settings:
Log into your PhotoBiz account.
Open the page you want to appear in search results.
Click SEO in the top-right corner.
Confirm that the page:
Is set to Auto or Custom SEO
Has a clear, descriptive Meta Title
Includes a compelling Meta Description
Uses a short, descriptive Friendly URL (slug)
For stronger results, include:
Your photography specialty
Your city or service area
Clear language describing who the page is for
You can use ASK PHOTOBIZ AI to generate optimized SEO based on your services and location, or manually enter custom metadata.

Make Sure Your Content Is Strong and Unique
Google prioritizes helpful, original content.
Pages may struggle to rank if they:
Contain very little text
Repeat the same content across multiple pages
Do not clearly describe services or location
Each page should clearly explain:
What type of photography you offer
Where you provide services
What makes your approach unique
Adding detailed, location-specific content helps Google understand exactly what you do and who you serve.
You can use Text Editor Blocks to expand your content or use ASK PHOTOBIZ AI to generate structured, relevant copy.

If your site is not appearing in search results, it is almost always related to indexing status, content quality, domain verification, or time, not the platform itself.
Allow Time for Google to Process Changes
SEO updates are not instant.
After publishing new content or updating SEO settings, it can take several weeks for Google to:
Re-crawl your site
Re-index updated pages
Adjust search rankings
New domains often take longer to gain visibility.
Continue adding helpful content and avoid making frequent major changes while Google processes updates.
