How to Add a Copyright Message to Your PhotoBiz Website Footer

Overview

You can add a copyright message to the footer of your PhotoBiz website using a Tagline block. Your message can include the copyright symbol, current year, business name, and an optional link to another page.

This guide explains how to add a Tagline block to your footer, create a new tagline item, and enter your copyright notice. After you complete these steps, the copyright message will appear throughout your website wherever the footer is displayed.

STEP ONE

This opens the Website Builder, where you can manage your website pages, navigation, footer, and design settings.

STEP TWO

Scroll to the bottom of the Website Builder control panel and click FOOTER.

The Footer section contains the information displayed at the bottom of your website. Content added here appears throughout your website wherever the footer is enabled.

STEP THREE

Click TAGLINE in the block menu on the right side of the Website Builder.

PhotoBiz adds a new Tagline block to your footer. The Tagline block can display short text such as a copyright notice, business statement, or other footer message.

STEP FOUR

Click the new Tagline block to open its settings.

If the Tagline settings do not open automatically, click the pencil icon in the upper-right corner of the block. Then click ADVANCED in the menu that opens.

STEP FIVE

Click NEW TAGLINE to create a new tagline item in the right side menu.

STEP SIX

Enter your copyright message in the LABEL field.

A standard copyright message may look like this:

Replace “Your Business Name” with the name of your photography business. You can also adjust the wording to match your brand.

To make the copyright message clickable, use the LINK TO setting to select a page or enter a destination. For example, you can link the message to your Contact page so visitors can reach you with questions about image use, licensing, or permission.

FINAL STEP

Click CREATE ITEM to add the copyright message to your Tagline block.

PhotoBiz automatically applies the update to your website. You do not need to publish the website separately.

Open your live website and scroll to the footer. Confirm that the copyright message appears correctly. If you added a link, click the message to make sure it opens the correct page.

How to Add the Copyright Symbol

You can copy and paste this symbol directly into the LABEL field:

You can also enter the symbol using your keyboard:

Windows: Hold the Alt key and type 0169 using the numeric keypad.
Mac: Hold the Option key and press G.

Helpful Notes

Include your business name so visitors can clearly identify the owner of the website content.
Use the current year in your copyright message.
Keep the message brief so it fits cleanly within your footer design.
Review your footer on both desktop and mobile devices after adding the message.
