Overview
If your website footer uses a Tagline block for its copyright notice, you can update the displayed year at any time. The copyright year does not update automatically, so you will need to change it manually when needed.
This guide explains how to open your website footer, locate the existing copyright message, update the year, and save your changes. The updated copyright notice will appear throughout your website wherever the footer is displayed.
If your footer does not already contain a copyright message, see How to Add a Copyright Message to Your PhotoBiz Website Footer.
Log in to your PhotoBiz account and click WEBSITE in the left-side menu.
This opens the Website Builder, where you can manage your website pages, navigation, footer, and design settings.
Scroll to the bottom of the Website Builder control panel and click FOOTER.
The Footer section contains the information displayed at the bottom of your website. Changes made here apply throughout your website wherever the footer is enabled.
Locate the Tagline block that contains the copyright message you want to update and click the block to open its settings.
If the settings do not open automatically, click the pencil icon in the upper-right corner of the Tagline block. Then click ADVANCED in the menu that opens.
In the menu on the right side of the Website Builder, click the existing label that displays your copyright message.
The tagline item will open so you can edit its LABEL and LINK TO settings.
Update the year in the LABEL field, and then click SAVE CHANGES.
For example:
© 2026 Your Business Name. All rights reserved.
PhotoBiz automatically applies saved changes to your live website. You do not need to publish the website separately.
Open your website and scroll to the footer to confirm that the updated copyright year appears correctly.
While editing the tagline item, you can also update:
To make the copyright message clickable, use the LINK TO setting to connect it to your Contact page. This gives visitors an easy way to reach you with questions about image use, licensing, or permission.
You can copy and paste the following symbol directly into the LABEL field:
©
You can also enter it using your keyboard:
