How To Use Divider Blocks In The Footer

A Divider block creates a space or a line and is used to separate items in your footer.


STEP ONE

Log into your PhotoBiz account and click on WEBSITE in the left-side menu. 

STEP TWO

Click on the FOOTER option at the bottom left column of your website control panel. 

STEP THREE

In the right side of the footer preview, you can click on the DIVDER block to add one to the footer. 

STEP FOUR

The new divider block will be added to the bottom of your footer, you can click and drag the divider to any position you prefer in the footer. Click on the DIVIDER block to access the design settings for it. 

FINAL STEPS

You can configure your divider options for the new footer divider you've added in the right-side menu. 

Layout Options

You can choose between the follwoing 2 layouts for your footer divider.

  • SPACER: a blank space between blocks
  • LINE: a solid link between blocks

DIVIDER

Depending on the layout you've selected, you can configured the following options:

  • Choose Thickness (Spacer & Line): Control the thickness of your Divider block. The available thickness options are ultra thin, thin, medium, and thick.
  • Choose Length (Line only): If using the line layout, you can also customize your divider's length. The available length options are long, medium, short, and flushed. The flushed layout will fill the line to the width of the screen.

Select your options from the drop down menu and click on SAVE CHANGES to apply to the divider block. 

STYLING

This option will only appear if you're using a LINE DIVIDER. You can control the following options:

  • Space Below Blocks: Controls the amount of space before the next block begins.
  • Space Inside Blocks: Controls the amount of space at the top and bottom of a block.

You can adust these by clicking on the option you have to use and click on save changes to apply it. 

COLORS

You may customize the colors of your Divider block to be different from your global settings selections. Click on the color box to change your colors. You may select from your accent colors or pick a new color. Press OK followed by save changes when you are happy with your color selection.

Please note: The Line Color setting is only applicable when using the line layout.

BACKGROUND

You can add a background image to your Divider Block. You can upload your own custom background image or choose one from the Background Library. You can customize how the background image is displayed in the Background Settings.
