How to Add a Form to Your PhotoBiz Website Footer

Overview

You can add any type of Form Block to your PhotoBiz website footer, giving visitors an easy way to submit information from your website. Newsletter and email signup forms are common choices, but you can also display contact forms, inquiry forms, questionnaires, and other forms you create in your account.

When someone submits a PhotoBiz form, their email address creates a contact in your built-in Contacts section. You can then use the Email Marketing tool included with your PhotoBiz website to send email marketing campaigns to eligible contacts.

This guide walks you through adding a Form Block to your footer, selecting the form you want to display, and customizing its appearance.

STEP ONE

Log in to your PhotoBiz account and click WEBSITE in the left-side menu.

STEP TWO

Scroll to the bottom of your list of website pages and click FOOTER.

This opens your website footer in the Website Builder so you can add or edit blocks that appear there.

STEP THREE

In the Block Editor on the right side of the screen, click the Form Block to add it to your footer.

After the Form Block is added, click inside the block to open its settings in the right-side panel.

FINAL STEP

In the right-side panel, use the first dropdown menu to select the form category you want to use. Then, use the second dropdown menu to select the specific form you want to display.

Click Save Changes to apply the selected form to your Form Block.

Your form will now appear in your website footer.

Form Block Options

Below the form dropdown menus, you can use these options to manage the form displayed in your footer:

  • Save Changes: Applies the form you selected to the Form Block.
  • Edit Form: Opens the selected existing form so you can make changes to it.
  • Create Form: Allows you to create a new form directly from the Form Block settings.

If you need to create a new form, see How Do I Create a Custom Form?.

Using a Newsletter Signup Form in Your Footer

A newsletter or email signup form is one of the most common forms used in a website footer. It gives visitors a convenient place to provide their email address while browsing your website.

You can select an existing signup form from the Form Block settings or click Create Form to build a new one.

Every PhotoBiz form requires an Email field. When a visitor submits the form, their email address is used to create a contact in your built-in CRM/Contacts section.

You can then use the Marketing tool included with all PhotoBiz websites to send email marketing campaigns to eligible contacts. Your PhotoBiz membership includes 10,000 marketing emails per month.

For a simple signup form, you can keep the form short and only collect the additional information your business needs.

Additional Form Block Customization

You can customize the appearance of your Form Block separately from your website's global design settings. Settings applied directly to the block override the corresponding global Website Builder settings for that Form Block.

Styling

The Styling section allows you to adjust spacing around the Form Block.

  • Space Below Blocks: Controls the amount of space between the Form Block and the next block.
  • Space Inside Blocks: Controls the amount of space at the top and bottom inside the Form Block.

Click SAVE CHANGES to apply any updates to this section.

Colors

The Colors section allows you to customize the colors used by the Form Block independently from your website's global color selections.

Click the color setting you want to change, then select one of your existing website colors or choose a custom color.

Click SAVE CHANGES to apply any updates to this section.

Background

The Background section allows you to display a background image behind your Form Block.

You can upload your own image or choose an image from the available Background Library. Use the available background settings to control how the image displays within the block.

Click SAVE CHANGES to apply any updates to this section.

FONTS

You can customize the font, size, spacing, and line height used throughout the Form Block.

Available font sections include:

  • Title
  • Text
  • Form Field Text
  • Button Text

Click the font section you want to update, then adjust its settings.

Click SAVE within each section to apply your font changes.

Helpful Notes

  • You can use any type of form in your website footer. Newsletter and email signup forms are simply common uses.
  • If the form you need already exists, select its category and form from the two dropdown menus and click Save Changes.
  • Use Edit Form when you need to update an existing form.
  • Use Create Form when you need to build a new form.
  • The Email field is required on every PhotoBiz form because it creates the contact in your built-in CRM.
  • Form submissions can be managed from your CRM/Contacts section.
  • The Marketing tool is included with all PhotoBiz websites and can be used to send email marketing campaigns to eligible contacts.
  • PhotoBiz membership includes 10,000 marketing emails per month.

  • Clicking Save Changes applies your Form Block updates. There is no separate publish button.
