Overview
The PhotoBiz Website Builder allows you to create a duplicate copy of an existing page on your website. This is helpful when you want to reuse a page layout, keep a consistent design, or create multiple similar pages without starting from scratch.
When you duplicate a page, you can choose whether to copy the page content, such as text, images, buttons, and other blocks, or copy only the page structure. This guide walks you through how to duplicate a page in your Website Builder and update the new copy.
If PhotoBiz created your website through the Custom Website Design service, duplicating pages is not recommended. Custom CSS or design-specific styling may not apply correctly to the copied version of the page.
If you are unsure whether your site uses custom design work, contact the PhotoBiz Support Team before copying pages.
Log in to your PhotoBiz account and click WEBSITE in the left-side menu. This opens the PhotoBiz Website Builder, where you can manage your website pages, navigation, and page content.
Click the page name you want to duplicate.
You can duplicate an existing page that is already built, or you can create a new page first, add your preferred blocks and content, and then copy that page for use elsewhere on your website.
This is useful if you want to create a reusable starting point for similar pages, such as service pages, pricing pages, landing pages, or event pages.
Click COPY at the top right of the page. A right-side menu will open with options for the duplicate page.
In the copy menu, enter the details for the new page.
For Page Name, enter the name you want to use for the copied page. Choose a clear name that helps you identify the page in your Website Builder.
For Include Content, choose Yes if you want the copied page to include the same blocks, text, images, buttons, and other content from the original page. Choose No if you only want to copy the page structure and blocks without copying the original content.
For Page Visibility, choose whether the copied page should be Visible, Hidden, or Disabled. Visible pages can appear on your live website navigation. Hidden pages remain active but do not appear in your main navigation, which is helpful while you are editing. Disabled pages are not available to visitors.
Click CREATE COPY to duplicate the page.
Your copied page will appear directly below the original page in your Website Builder page list. You can now open the new page and make any edits needed.
Before sharing the copied page or making it visible, review the page name, page content, images, buttons, links, forms, gallery blocks, embedded code, and SEO settings. This helps make sure the copied page is accurate, unique, and ready for visitors.
Duplicating pages is a helpful way to save time when creating pages with similar layouts. For example, you can create one service page layout, duplicate it, and then update the copied versions for different sessions, packages, locations, or seasonal promotions.
If you are still editing the copied page, set the page visibility to Hidden until it is ready. This allows you to work on the page without adding it to your main website navigation.
After duplicating a page, always review any buttons, links, forms, products, services, Client Galleries, HTML Blocks, embedded code, tracking code, or third-party widgets that were copied from the original page. These items may still point to the original destination and may need to be updated for the new page.
You can move the copied page after it is created. Once the duplicate page appears in your Website Builder page list, you can drag it to a different position in your navigation if needed.
Copying a page does not create a new website design template. It creates a new page based on the page you selected.
Why does my copied page look different from the original page?
If your website uses custom CSS or custom design work, the copied page may not display exactly the same as the original page. This is most common on websites created through the PhotoBiz Custom Website Design service. Contact PhotoBiz Support before copying custom-designed pages.
Why can’t I find my copied page?
The copied page appears directly below the original page in your Website Builder page list. If you do not see it right away, check directly under the page you copied.
Should I choose Yes or No for Include Content?
Choose Yes if you want to copy the full page, including text, images, buttons, and other content.
Choose No if you only want to copy the layout and blocks, but plan to add new content from scratch.
Do I need to update SEO settings on the copied page?
Yes. After copying a page, review the page title, SEO title, SEO description, and page URL if needed. Updating these details helps keep the copied page unique and easier for visitors and search engines to understand.
