How to Check Your Domain Name Servers
Your domain’s name servers determine where your DNS (Domain Name System) is being managed. This guide will help you look up your current name servers and understand what they mean for your PhotoBiz website.
STEP ONE
Open ICANN's website (https://lookup.icann.org/en/lookup) and look up your domain name information.
STEP TWO
In the results, locate the section labeled NAME SERVERS. You will see a list of server addresses. These control the DNS for your domain.
STEP THREE
Compare your results to the following:
-
If your name servers show:
ns.rackspace.com
ns2.rackspace.com
This means your domain is still pointed to our legacy Rackspace servers. You’ll want to log in to your PhotoBiz account, click on DOMAINS in the left-side panel, and upgrade your DNS settings to our latest AWS servers. You’ll be given 4 unique name servers to update where your domain is registered.

If your name servers show 4 AWSDNS servers
You’re already using our latest DNS platform, called Amazon Route 53. No further action is needed. -
If your name servers show other values
Your DNS is being managed through a third-party service (not PhotoBiz). Any updates or edits to DNS records will need to be made through the provider your name servers point to.
