How to Add Go High Level DNS Records in PhotoBiz

If your website is built on PhotoBiz (Version 9 or higher) and your domain's name servers are pointed to AWS Route 53, you can manage your DNS zone records directly in your PhotoBiz account.

This gives you full control over your DNS settings—so you can make changes anytime, even outside of business hours.

Important: DNS management is only available if your domain is using AWS (Route 53) name servers.
If your domain is still using our legacy name servers, this feature will not be available.

To learn how to upgrade your name servers, visit: How to Upgrade Your Domain Name Servers

Please Note: PhotoBiz is not affiliated with Go High Level. Our support team can help you add DNS records to your domain, but for questions about functionality, billing, or account-specific support, please contact Go High Level directly.

DNS Changes May Take Time

Most DNS updates take effect within a few minutes, but full propagation across the internet may take up to 48 hours.

BEFORE YOU GET STARTED

Make sure you have configured your account with Go High Level and have obtained the DNS records you need to add. These may include A Records, CNAME Records, TXT Records, or others.

STEP ONE

Log In and Access Your DNS Settings

Log in to your PhotoBiz account.

Click DOMAINS from the left-hand menu.

STEP TWO

Open the DNS Zone Editor

In the Domains panel, find your domain and click MANAGE DNS.

STEP THREE

Add a New DNS Record

Click NEW DNS RECORD.

Choose the type of record you need to add.

Supported DNS Record Types include:

  • A Record – Points your domain to a specific IP address
  • CNAME – Redirects one domain name to another
  • MX (Mail Exchange) – Routes email to your mail server
  • TXT – Used for domain verification and email authentication (e.g., SPF, DKIM, DMARC)
  • SRV – Used for services like VoIP and messaging

⚠️ Caution: Editing DNS settings incorrectly can cause issues with your website, email, or other services. Only make changes if you’re confident or have clear instructions from a trusted provider.

STEP FOUR

Enter Record Details and Save

After choosing the appropriate record type, enter the required values.

Click SAVE CHANGES to update your DNS settings.

FINAL STEP

After you’ve added your DNS records in PhotoBiz, return to your Go High Level account and validate them once the changes have propagated.
