How to Cancel Original Files on Your PhotoBiz Account
You can cancel the Original Files add-on at any time by:
- Calling our Passionate Support Team at 866.463.7620 (Monday – Friday, 9 AM – 6 PM EST), or
- Submitting a support ticket from your account.
Important: What Happens When You Cancel Original Files
Canceling this add-on will permanently delete all full-resolution (original) image and video files larger than 4MB from your account. These original-size files cannot be recovered unless you re-upload them manually.
However, the smaller, web-resolution versions of your images that display on your website, blog, and client galleries will remain in your account.
Here’s what’s affected:
Client Galleries:
- Any image larger than 4MB will be deleted.
- Web-sized versions used for online viewing will remain.
→ You will no longer be able to sell full-resolution digital downloads.
Website Builder & Blog:
- Any image over 4MB will be deleted.
- Web-resolution versions will remain visible on your site.
Video Files:
- Any video over 4MB will be permanently deleted.
Image Clipboard:
- Any image larger than 4MB will be deleted.
- Web-resolution versions will remain.
Files Section (Documents):
- Any uploaded file over 4MB will be deleted.
Before You Cancel: Make Sure Clients Have Downloaded Their Files
Before submitting your cancellation request, confirm that all clients who purchased or were granted access to original files have downloaded them.
Keep In Mind
- Once deleted, original files are not stored or backed up anywhere in your account.
- If your local copies (on your computer or external drives) are lost, PhotoBiz cannot recover them.
