How to Cancel Your PhotoBiz Mailbox

Overview

You can cancel a PhotoBiz Mailbox if you no longer need your branded email address through PhotoBiz. To cancel a mailbox, contact the PhotoBiz Support Team by submitting a support ticket from your PhotoBiz account or by calling Support.

Mailbox cancellation is permanent. Once the mailbox is deleted, the email address and all messages stored in that mailbox are removed and cannot be recovered by PhotoBiz.

How to Cancel Your Mailbox

To request mailbox cancellation, contact PhotoBiz Support using one of the options below:

  • Submit a support ticket from your PhotoBiz account
  • Call PhotoBiz Support at 866.463.7620

When you submit your request, include the full email address you want to cancel. This helps the PhotoBiz Support Team confirm the correct mailbox before removing it from your account.

If you submit a ticket from your PhotoBiz account, click the black and white question mark icon in the lower-right corner of your control panel to open the support menu. Choose the ticket option, then select ACCOUNT for the Production/Section field and DOMAIN & EMAIL for the Subject Section field.

Use an email address you can access when submitting the ticket. If the mailbox you are cancelling is also the email address you use for your PhotoBiz account, you may use a different email address for the support ticket so the PhotoBiz Support Team can still contact you about your request.

In the Description Section, clearly state that you want to cancel and delete your PhotoBiz Mailbox. Include the full mailbox email address in your message.

Important Before You Cancel

Mailbox cancellations are permanent. Once your mailbox is deleted, the mailbox email address and all stored messages are removed from your PhotoBiz account.

Before cancelling, make sure you have backed up any emails you want to keep. This may include client conversations, contracts, invoices, order details, and other business records.

PhotoBiz Mailboxes are non-refundable after purchase and registration.

Option to Keep Mailbox or Mailbox and Domain Service Only

If you no longer need your full PhotoBiz Website Package, you may be able to keep only your Mailbox service or keep only your Mailbox and Domain service.

This requires your membership to be changed to annual billing. The PhotoBiz Support Team can review your account and confirm which option is available.

You can request this by submitting a support ticket or by calling PhotoBiz Support. In your message, let us know if you want to ask about keeping Mailbox-only service or Mailbox and Domain-only service instead of cancelling everything.

Submit a Support Ticket From Your PhotoBiz Account

Follow the steps below if you want to submit your mailbox cancellation request from your PhotoBiz account.

STEP ONE

Log in to your PhotoBiz account and click the black and white question mark icon located in the lower-right corner of your control panel.

This opens the support menu where you can submit a support ticket from inside your account.

FINAL STEP

A support menu will appear on the right side of your screen. Submit your request using the ticket system.

Use an email address you can access so the PhotoBiz Support Team can send your confirmation and follow-up messages. If you are cancelling the mailbox email address used for your PhotoBiz account, you may use a different email address when submitting the ticket.

In the Production/Section field, select ACCOUNT. In the Subject Section field, select DOMAIN & EMAIL. In the Description Section, clearly state that you want to cancel and delete your PhotoBiz Mailbox. Include the full mailbox email address you want to cancel.

When you are ready, click Send to submit your ticket. You will see a confirmation message with a Ticket ID on the screen once your request is submitted. Keep this Ticket ID for your records.

What Happens Next

The PhotoBiz Support Team will review your request and process the mailbox cancellation or membership change.

If your mailbox is cancelled, it will be permanently removed from your account. If you requested Mailbox-only service or Mailbox and Domain-only service, the Support Team will confirm the annual membership details before making the change.
