Pro Tip
A popular place to link your privacy policy is in your website footer. You can add the link by editing your footer tagline or footer sitemap.Having a privacy policy on your website can also support your SEO and help build trust with visitors. While it doesn’t directly improve keyword rankings, it shows Google and your audience that your business is credible and transparent.
Search engines and ad platforms like Google Ads and Facebook Ads often require a privacy policy for compliance and trustworthiness. Including one can improve your site’s overall authority and user confidence—both of which are important factors in long-term SEO success.
