Using a Custom Domain Name with PhotoBiz

Your PhotoBiz account gives you flexible options for using a custom domain name for your website. All new accounts start on a temporary domain so you can get started right away—no need to set up your domain until you're ready to go live with your branding!

This article answers the 3 most common domain setup questions:

Option 1: I need to purchase a new domain registration.

You can register a .com, .net, .biz, or .org domain name directly through your PhotoBiz account.

Cost:

  • $12 one-time registration
  • $3.50/month OR $42/year for renewal (depending on your plan)

▶️ How Do I Purchase a Domain Name with PhotoBiz?

Option 2: I want to use an existing domain registered elsewhere (and keep it there).

Already have a domain registered with a third-party provider (like GoDaddy, Namecheap, or Google Domains)? Great! You can connect it to your PhotoBiz site at no extra cost.

Important: If you keep your domain registered with a third party, remember to renew it separately from your PhotoBiz subscription.

▶️ How Do I Set Up My Existing Domain Name?

Option 3: I want to use an existing domain AND transfer the registration to PhotoBiz.

Prefer to keep everything in one place? You can transfer your domain registration into PhotoBiz so we handle both your website and your domain renewal.
