You can transfer your domain from your current registrar into your PhotoBiz account with a domain transfer. One requirement to do the domain transfer is obtaining an authorization code (some registrars will refer to this as an EPP code or transfer key) from your current domain registrar. This guide will give you an overview on how to get this from your domain registrar.
STEP ONE
Log into your current domain registrar account:
This is the service where you initially purchased and manage your domain.
STEP TWO
Locate your domain management area:
Navigate to the section that manages your domain (usually called something like "Domain Management," "My Domains," or "Domain Settings").
STEP THREE
Unlock your domain:
If your domain is locked (which is standard for security), you’ll need to unlock it. Look for an option that says "Unlock Domain" or similar.
STEP FOUR
Request the authorization code:
There should be an option to request the authorization (EPP) code. This is usually found in the same area where you manage your domain settings or transfers.
The registrar may either display the code immediately or email it to the email address associated with your domain account.
STEP FIVE
Check your email:
If the code was sent via email, check your inbox (and possibly spam/junk folder) for the authorization code.
STEP SIX
Submit your code to PhotoBiz:
When you initiate the transfer with PhotoBiz, you will need to provide this authorization code to complete the process.
