You can transfer an existing domain from a third-party registrar to your PhotoBiz account, keeping your website and domain registration all in one place. We support the transfer of the following domain types: .COM, .NET, .INFO, .BIZ, and .ORG.
Steps to Transfer Your Domain:
- Unlock the Domain: Ensure your domain is unlocked at your current registrar.
- Remove Privacy Settings: Disable any privacy settings associated with your domain name, including DNSSEC.
- Obtain an Authorization Code (EPP Code): This code is required to initiate the transfer.

Cost:
- There is a $25.00 one time fee to transfer your domain to your PhotoBiz account from a 3rd party registrar.
- Domain registration renewal is $3.50 per month for monthly clients or $42.00 per year for annual clients.
Important:
Avoid updating the domain settings or contact information during this process, as changes will prevent you from starting the transfer for 60 days.
You can find transfer steps for major domain registrars by clicking on the logo of your registrar below.

Please note:
- In order to transfer the domain, you should not have updated the domain’s registrant name, company, and/or email address nor have transferred the domain from another registrar within the last 60 days.
- We do not recommend initiating a domain transfer for a domain that will expire within 15 days from the transfer initiation date.
When you're ready to transfer your domain registration to PhotoBiz, please give our Passionate Support team a call at 866-463-7620 (Monday - Friday 9am - 6pm EST) so that we can help you get the process started.
PRO TIP:
Once initiated, a domain transfer can sometimes take 7-10 business days to process before it arrives at PhotoBiz. Once the transfer is initiated, some registrars will send you an email where you can confirm the transfer request — in many cases, confirming the transfer can speed the process up, so be sure to check your email inbox for messages from your domain registrar.
