How to Create a Free Shipping Coupon in Your PhotoBiz Store

Overview

PhotoBiz ECommerce includes built-in coupon tools that let you create promotions for your online store. A Free Shipping coupon is a simple way to encourage more orders and offer extra value to your customers. This guide shows you how to create a Free Shipping coupon, set its dates and usage rules, and choose which shipping methods it applies to. By the end, your coupon will be ready for customers to use at checkout.

Prerequisites

Before you create a Free Shipping coupon, make sure you have at least one shipping method set up in your PhotoBiz account. Free Shipping coupons can only be used with shipping options that already exist in your ECommerce settings.

STEP ONE

Log into your PhotoBiz account and click on ECOMMERCE from the menu on the left.

STEP TWO

At the top of your ECommerce control panel, hover over PAYMENTS and click COUPONS from the drop-down menu.

STEP THREE

Click the NEW COUPON button.

STEP FOUR

You'll see the available coupon types, under the DOLLAR DISCOUNTS category, slick on FREE SHIPPING and then click continue.

Enter your coupon details, including the DISCOUNT CODE, BEGIN DATE, and EXPIRATION DATE. You can also add optional settings such as a description, usage limits, or minimum and maximum order prices. When finished, click NEXT: CHOOSE ITEM.

FINAL STEP

Choose which shipping methods the coupon will apply to. You can select ALL to make the coupon work with every shipping option, or choose SPECIFIC SHIPPING OPTIONS if you only want it to apply to certain methods. Click CREATE COUPON to save it.

Once your coupon is created, you will be taken back to the main Coupons page, where you can view and manage your coupon codes.

Additional Options or Helpful Notes

A Free Shipping coupon only removes the shipping charge for the shipping methods you select.
Your customers must enter the discount code during checkout for the coupon to apply.
Begin and expiration dates allow you to schedule promotions in advance.
Minimum and maximum order price settings help control when the coupon is available.
You can return to the Coupons area at any time to review your active and expired coupon codes.
If you want your coupon to apply to most or all orders, consider adding a Promo Bar or Pop Up to your website to highlight the discount code. This helps ensure visitors are aware of the offer before they reach checkout and increases the likelihood it will be used.
