How to Create a Custom Friendly URL for Your Website Page

By default, your website pages use a URL based on the page’s name in your navigation. But you can customize this link—called a URL slug—to make it cleaner, shorter, and easier to share. Friendly URLs are great for marketing materials, promotions, and improving the user experience. This guide will walk you through updating the URL slug for any page on your PhotoBiz website.

STEP ONE

Log into your PhotoBiz account and click on WEBSITE from the left-hand menu.

STEP TWO

Click on the page where you want to create a custom friendly URL.

STEP THREE

In the upper-right corner of the page, click the SEO button.

STEP FOUR

In the right-hand panel that opens, click on FRIENDLY URL to view the current URL slug.
Change the setting from Auto to Custom so you can edit it.

FINAL STEP

Type in your new custom URL slug and click SAVE CHANGES to apply it to your page.

That’s it! Your page will now use your custom friendly URL, making it easier for your clients to remember and share.
