How to Verify Your Domain with Google Search Console Using PhotoBiz DNS Tools

Google Search Console is a free tool that helps you monitor how your website appears in Google search results. The first step to using it is to verify ownership of your domain. If your domain’s DNS is managed by PhotoBiz (Version 9 or higher and using AWS Route 53 name servers), you can now add the required TXT record directly from your PhotoBiz account.

This guide will walk you through the steps to verify your domain with Google Search Console using the TXT method and PhotoBiz's DNS management tools.

STEP ONE

Log Into Google Search Console

Go to Google Search Console.
Choose the Domain option (not URL Prefix).
Enter your domain name (e.g., yourdomain.com) and click Continue.

Google will generate a TXT record that you’ll need to add to your domain settings.

STEP TWO

Copy the TXT Verification Record

Google will show a TXT record that looks something like this:

google-site-verification=xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
Click the COPY button next to the TXT record.

STEP THREE

Log Into Your PhotoBiz Account and Access DNS Management

In a new browser tab, log into your PhotoBiz account.
From the left-hand menu, click DOMAINS.

STEP FOUR

Find your domain in the list and click MANAGE DNS. (This option is only available if your domain uses AWS Route 53 name servers.)

STEP FIVE

Add your TXT Record

Choose TXT record from the list of DNS entries you can add to your domain settings. Paste your Google TXT record and save changes.

STEP SIX

Go Back to Google Search Console and Verify

Return to your Google Search Console tab.
Click VERIFY to confirm domain ownership.

If the TXT record has propagated successfully, you’ll see a confirmation message that your domain has been verified.

STEP SIX (Optional but Recommended)

Submit Your Sitemap to Google

Once your domain is verified, you can help Google better index your site:

Click Go to Property in Search Console.

In the Sitemaps section, submit:

sitemap.xml for your full website

blog-rss if you’re actively using the blog feature

This helps Google discover and index your pages and blog posts more efficiently.
