How to Add the Blog Block to Your Website

The Blog Block allows you to display your blog posts directly on any page of your PhotoBiz website. You can control which posts appear, how they are organized, and how they are styled to match your brand. This guide walks you through adding the Blog Block, selecting posts, choosing a layout, and customizing the design. By the end, your blog posts will be visible on your site in a layout that fits your content and goals.

STEP ONE

Log into your PhotoBiz account and click WEBSITE from the left-hand menu. This opens the Website Builder where you manage your pages and content blocks.

STEP TWO

Click on the name of the page where you want to add your blog posts.
On the right-hand side of the builder, locate the Blog Block icon.

You can add the block in one of two ways:

  • Click the Blog Block icon to add it to the bottom of the page
  • Click and drag the Blog Block icon to place it exactly where you want it

A teal placement bar shows where the block will be added.

STEP THREE

Choose a layout type for your Blog Block.

You will see two options when the block is added:

Blank Layout
This option uses your website’s global styling. Click in the center of the block where it says Click to add blog posts to reopen the side panel and begin editing.

Predesigned Layout
This option applies built-in design styling. The side panel stays open so you can immediately customize layout and settings.

Both options give you full access to all Blog Block layouts and settings.

Predesigned layout

The side panel menu will remain open, and you can jump right in to editing your block settings.

Blank layout

Click in the center of the block where it says "click to add blog posts" and the side panel menu will reappear.

STEP FOUR

Under CHOOSE THE POSTS TO DISPLAY ON THIS BLOCK, decide which blog posts appear.

You can:

  • Display all published blog posts
  • Display only posts that use specific tags

If you choose tags, type the tag name and click Add Tag. Repeat this for each tag you want to include.

Helpful Guide: How To Use Blog Tags

This option only works if your blog posts already use those tags.

You can also:

  • Sort posts by Most Recent or Most Popular
  • Choose whether to display the publishing date

Once finished, click Save Changes.

STYLING OPTIONS FOR YOUR BLOG BLOCK

BLOG BLOCK LAYOUT OPTIONS

You can choose from 12 different Blog Block layouts to control how your blog posts appear on your website. Each layout displays images, text, and post details slightly differently, allowing you to match your branding and content style.

You can change layouts at any time without rebuilding your Blog Block.
