How to Change the Layout of the Blog Block

The Blog Block in PhotoBiz gives you flexibility in how your blog posts are displayed, with multiple layout options that you can switch between at any time. You don’t have to rebuild your block or re-enter content—just choose the layout that best fits your design needs. Whether you want a clean editorial grid or a feature-rich layout with previews and buttons, you can easily update your look in just a few clicks.

Follow the steps below to change the layout of your Blog Block.

STEP ONE

Log into your PhotoBiz account and click on WEBSITE from the left-hand menu.

STEP TWO

Select the page that contains the Blog Block you want to update.

STEP THREE

Locate the Blog Block on the page. You can change the layout in one of two ways:

Option One: One-Click Layout Change
In the upper right corner of the block, you'll see the current layout name with left and right arrows. Click the arrows to scroll through available layouts and preview them in real time.
The layout updates automatically—no need to click save.

Option Two: Change Layout in the Right Side Panel
Click the pencil icon in the upper right corner of the block. Then select CHANGE LAYOUT from the menu that appears.

STEP FOUR

If using Option Two, layout choices will appear in the right-hand panel. Browse the available options and click the Save button under the layout you want to apply.

Your changes will appear automatically in the builder preview. To see how the new layout looks on your live site, click the VIEW SITE button at the top of the builder.

Blog Block Layout Options

You can choose from 8 Blog Block layouts. Here's a quick overview of what each one does:

  • Editorial Circle: Circular thumbnails with post title and date underneath. No text preview.

  • Editorial Square: Square thumbnails in a grid with title and date underneath. No text preview.

  • Editorial Landscape: Horizontal (wider) rectangles in a grid with title and date. No text preview.

  • Editorial Portrait: Vertical (taller) rectangles in a grid with title and date. No text preview.
  • Designer Landscape: Horizontal layout with date on the image, plus title and a 250-character preview below.

  • Designer Portrait: Vertical layout with date on the image, plus title and a 250-character preview below.

  • Designer Pinboard: Staggered grid with date on the image, plus title and a 250-character preview below.

  • Feed: One post per row in a left-right alternating layout, including title, date, a 500-character preview, and a “Read More” button.
