Overview
PhotoBiz allows you to change your website template at any time at no additional cost. You can also preview a new template before applying it to your live website.
Templates control the overall design framework of your website. This includes areas such as menu placement, logo placement, social icon placement, site width, and general layout structure.
This guide explains how to browse PhotoBiz templates, add a new template to your account, preview it with your own website content, and apply it to your live website when you are ready.
You can view PhotoBiz template sample sites before adding a template to your account. This is helpful if you want to compare different designs, homepage layouts, menu styles, and mobile-friendly template options.

After you find a template you like, you can log in to your PhotoBiz account and follow the steps below to add it to your account and preview it with your own content.
Your template controls high-level design elements across your website.
This may include:
Changing your template does not change:
After switching templates, you can continue customizing your pages, blocks, fonts, colors, styling, backgrounds, and other design settings.
Previewing a template lets you see how your website would look with a different template using your own existing content. Previewing does not change your live website.
Applying a template makes that template active on your live website. In this workflow, clicking SAVE applies the selected template and design settings to your website.
When you preview a new template, PhotoBiz shows how your current website content looks inside that template. Your existing pages, blocks, images, and text remain in place.
The preview does not automatically add the sample pages, sample images, or sample content shown in the template demo. If the template sample includes layouts or content sections that your current website does not use, those items will not appear in your preview.
If you want to create a new page layout that is closer to a template sample, use the PhotoBiz AI Page Creator to add a new page to your Website Builder.
When you add a new template to your account, you may be asked how you want your design settings handled.
These settings may include:
You can choose from the following options:
Choose Keep My Current Settings if you want to keep your current brand styling. Choose Use New Template Settings if you want your website to match the sample style of the new template more closely.
Log into your PhotoBiz account and click on WEBSITE in the left-side menu.
Click DESIGN at the top of the Website Builder control panel.
At the top right corner of the Design section, you will see your current template. Click CHANGE TEMPLATE to open the template catalog.
Clicking CHANGE TEMPLATE does not apply a new template to your live website. It only opens the template area so you can browse, add, and preview available template options.
Under My Templates, click ADD NEW TEMPLATES on the right side of the screen.
This opens the full PhotoBiz template catalog. All available templates are included with your PhotoBiz membership, so you can add and test different templates without an additional cost.
Browse the available templates in the catalog. Newer templates appear first.
Click SAMPLE to preview a live demo version of a template. Template samples can be viewed on desktop and mobile so you can see how the design looks on different screen sizes.
When you find a template you want to test with your own website content, click ADD.
Choose how you want your design settings handled.
Select Keep My Current Settings if you want to keep your existing fonts, colors, styling, backgrounds, and other design choices.
Select Use New Template Settings if you want to apply the default design settings from the new template.
After making your selection, the template will be added to your account. You can preview it with your own website content before applying it to your live website.
Under My Templates, locate the template you want to use.
Click PREVIEW to view your website with the selected template before applying it. This lets you review the design using your own content.
When you are ready to apply the selected template to your live website, click SAVE. After saving, your website will update using the template and design settings you selected.
You can manage saved templates from the My Templates section.
Hover over a saved template to reveal additional options. Click the pencil icon to rename the template, or click the trash icon to delete it from your saved templates.
Deleting a saved template does not affect your live website unless that template is currently applied.
After applying a new template, you can continue customizing your website design.
You may want to update:
PhotoBiz regularly adds new templates, so you can refresh your website design whenever you want.
Changing your template updates the overall design framework of your website. It does not replace your current pages with the sample pages shown in a template demo.
If you want to create a new page layout without changing your entire website template, use the PhotoBiz AI Page Creator. The PhotoBiz AI Page Creator helps you add a new page layout to your Website Builder, then customize the text, images, buttons, and blocks for your business.

What if I only want to change my home page?
If you only want to try a new home page design without changing the template for your entire website, use the PhotoBiz AI Page Creator to create a new page layout. This lets you build a new page design while keeping your current website template active.
Will changing my template delete my website content?
No. Changing your template does not delete your pages, blocks, uploaded images, or existing website content. Your content remains in your Website Builder.
Why does my preview not look exactly like the template sample?
Template samples may include sample pages, images, blocks, and layouts that are not part of your current website. A template preview uses your existing website content, so it may not look exactly like the sample site unless your pages and blocks are set up in a similar way.
Can I test more than one template?
Yes. You can add and preview different templates from the template catalog. Your live website will not change until you click SAVE to apply a selected template.
