How To Modify Your Website Fonts

This video tutorial will walk you through the steps of modifying the fonts you're using on your PhotoBiz website.

Customize Your Fonts on Your PhotoBiz Website

You can change and customize the fonts on your PhotoBiz website using our built-in font bank. This curated list includes licensed, mobile-responsive fonts selected from the Google Font foundry. The font bank is located under the DESIGN tab in your Website Builder control panel.

Each font includes a preview, so you can see what it looks like before making any changes. You can also view font examples on the Growth Hub for additional inspiration.

This guide will walk you through how to update your global font settings.

STEP ONE

Login to your PhotoBiz account and select website in the menu on the left.

STEP TWO

Click on the DESIGN tab at the top of your Website control panel.

STEP THREE

Click on the EDIT DESIGN SETTINGS button to access your website global design settings. 

STEP FOUR

Click on the FONTS option in the right-side menu to find your website global font settings.

STEP FIVE

You can mouse over and click on your font name to access the font settings. 

STEP SIX

The font bank will appear. You'll see your current global fonts and a list of all available font categories. Font previews are shown as you browse.

Click Change to open the font preview panel. You can filter fonts by the following categories:

  • GLOBAL
  • ALL
  • SERIF
  • SANS-SERIF
  • MONOSPACE
  • SCRIPT
  • HANDWRITTEN

Hover over the font you want to use and click SAVE to apply it to your website.

Note: If you're switching from one font to another, a Recently Used section will appear with the last 6 fonts you’ve used in the builder.

PRO TIP!

These are your global font settings, but each block in the builder can have its own font settings that override the global ones.

Customize Fonts by Section

You can adjust the style and size of fonts in different areas of your site:

MENU

  • Menu Item: Controls the font used in your site navigation.

TITLES

Controls the font used in:

  • Title Block
  • Text + Image Block Titles
  • Text Editor Block Titles
  • Maps Block Titles

GLOBAL CONTENT

  • Paragraph: Used in all text blocks, descriptions, and detail pages.
  • Heading H1 / H2 / H3: Used in text-based blocks like Text Editor and Text + Image.
  • Banner/Video Title: Used in Banner and Video blocks.
  • Detail Page Title: Blog, Products, Services, and Scheduler detail pages.
  • Item Title: Used across multiple block types like Images, List, Blog, Maps, and FAQ.
  • Button Text: Applies to all blocks and pages with buttons.

📝 You can also adjust H1, H2, and H3 settings directly in Text Editor and Text + Image blocks. Learn More

Adjust Font Size, Letter Spacing, and Line Height

You can fine-tune your font appearance using sliders for:

Font Size

Adjusts relative to your template’s default size.

  • Example: 80% = smaller, 120% = larger.

Letter Spacing

Adjusts space between letters.

  • Negative values = tighter text
  • Positive values = more spacing

Line Height

Controls the vertical spacing between lines of text.
Note: This setting does not apply to Menu fonts.

To adjust these settings, hover over each one and click to open the sliders. Use the preview at the top of the section to see how changes will look.

Once you're happy with your updates, click SAVE CHANGES at the bottom to apply them to your site.
