How To Modify Your Website Fonts

This video tutorial will walk you through the steps of modifying the fonts you're using on your PhotoBiz website.

How to Customize Fonts on Your PhotoBiz Website

Your website fonts play a major role in how your brand feels to visitors. PhotoBiz includes a built-in font bank with licensed, mobile-responsive fonts from the Google Fonts foundry. You can update your global font settings at any time from the Website Builder.

This guide walks you through how to change your global fonts, explore font categories, and adjust font size, spacing, and line height.

STEP ONE

Log into your PhotoBiz account and click WEBSITE in the left-side menu.

This opens your Website Builder control panel.

STEP TWO

Click the DESIGN tab at the top of your Website control panel.

This area controls your global website styling.

STEP THREE

Click EDIT DESIGN SETTINGS to open your global design settings.

Your design settings panel will open on the right side of the screen.

STEP FOUR

Click FONTS in the right-side menu.

This section contains all global font settings for your website.

STEP FIVE

Hover over the font name you want to edit and click it to open the font settings.

This allows you to change the font style and adjust sizing and spacing.

STEP SIX

Click Change to open the font bank.

You will see your current font along with all available font categories. Each font includes a live preview so you can see how it looks before applying it.

Use the category filters to browse:

  • GLOBAL

  • ALL

  • SERIF

  • SANS-SERIF

  • MONOSPACE

  • SCRIPT

  • HANDWRITTEN

Hover over a font to preview it, then click SAVE to apply it to your website.

If you recently switched fonts, a Recently Used section will appear showing the last six fonts you selected.

PRO TIP!

These are your global font settings, but each block in the builder can have its own font settings that override the global ones.

Customize Fonts by Section

Your global font settings control different areas of your website. Each section can use a different font style.

Menu

  • Menu Item — Controls the font used in your website navigation.

Titles

Applies to:

  • Title Block

  • Text + Image Block Titles

  • Text Editor Block Titles

  • Maps Block Titles

Global Content

  • Paragraph — Used in text editor blocks, descriptions, and detail pages

  • Heading H1 / H2 / H3 — Used in Text Editor Blocks and Text + Image Blocks

  • Banner/Video Title — Used in Banner Blocks and Video Blocks

  • Detail Page Title — Blog Blocks, Product Blocks, Service Blocks, and Scheduler Blocks

  • Item Title — Used in Image Blocks, List Blocks, Blog Blocks, Map Blocks, and FAQ Blocks

  • Button Text — Applies to all blocks and pages with buttons

You can also adjust H1, H2, and H3 settings directly inside Text Editor and Text + Image Blocks if you need additional control.

Adjust Font Size, Letter Spacing, and Line Height

You can fine-tune how your fonts appear using adjustment sliders.

Font Size

Adjusts relative to your template’s default size.

  • 80% makes text smaller

  • 120% makes text larger

Letter Spacing

Adjusts the space between letters.

  • Negative values create tighter text

  • Positive values add more spacing

Line Height

Controls the vertical spacing between lines of text.

Note: Line height does not apply to Menu fonts.

To adjust these settings, hover over the setting name and click to open the sliders. Use the preview at the top of the section to see how your changes will look in real time.

When you are finished, click SAVE CHANGES at the bottom of the panel. Your updates will automatically apply to your website.

Important Note About Global vs. Block Fonts

Global font settings apply site-wide. However, individual blocks can override global font settings.

If a block has custom font styling applied, it will take priority over your global settings.
