How to Restore a Deleted Page in the PhotoBiz Website Builder

Overview

If you accidentally delete a page from your PhotoBiz website, you may be able to restore it from the Deleted Pages area in the Website Builder. Restoring a page brings the full page and its content back into your website page list.

This guide walks you through finding and restoring recently deleted pages. It also explains how Deleted Pages works, how to permanently remove a deleted page, and why individual blocks cannot be restored separately.

Important Notes About Deleted Pages

Before restoring a page, keep these limitations in mind:

  • PhotoBiz stores the last 15 deleted pages in the Deleted Pages area.
  • As additional pages are deleted, the oldest deleted pages are removed from the recoverable list.
  • You can permanently delete a page from the Deleted Pages area if you no longer need it.
  • Once a page is permanently deleted from the Deleted Pages area, it cannot be restored using this tool.
  • The Deleted Pages area should not be used to archive or store pages you may want to use later.
  • Only full deleted pages can be restored. Individual blocks deleted from an existing page cannot be recovered through Deleted Pages.

If you delete a block such as a Text Editor Block, Text + Image Block, Images Block, Form Block, or Button Block, you will need to add the block again and rebuild its content.

STEP ONE

Log in to your PhotoBiz account and click WEBSITE in the left-side menu.

This opens your Website Builder, where you can manage your website pages and content.

STEP TWO

Scroll to the bottom of your Website Builder page list and click DELETED PAGES.

The Deleted Pages panel opens on the right side of your control panel and displays the deleted pages that are still available to restore.

STEP THREE

Check the box next to the page or pages you want to restore.

You can restore one page or multiple pages at the same time. To select all pages currently listed in Deleted Pages, check the box at the top of the column.

FINAL STEP

Click RESTORE PAGES.

A confirmation message will appear showing which pages were restored. Your restored pages will be added to the bottom of your Website Builder page list with the content they contained before they were deleted.

After restoring a page, you can move it to the appropriate position in your page list and review its visibility and content as needed.

Permanently Delete a Page

If you no longer need a page listed under Deleted Pages, you can permanently remove it.

Open Deleted Pages, check the box next to the page you want to remove, and use the delete option available in the Deleted Pages panel.

Once the page is permanently deleted from this area, it is no longer available to restore using the Deleted Pages tool.

Only permanently delete a page when you are certain you will not need to recover it.

Additional Options or Helpful Notes

After restoring a page, review the page before relying on it as part of your live website.

You may need to:

  • Move the restored page back to its previous position in your page list.
  • Review the page visibility setting.
  • Confirm that the page appears where you want it in your website navigation.
  • Review the page content and make any necessary updates.

The Deleted Pages tool restores full website pages. It does not restore individual blocks removed from an existing page, images removed from a block, text that was overwritten, or individual design changes made to a page.

If you want to keep a page for future use without displaying it to visitors, consider changing the page's visibility instead of deleting it.

Troubleshooting or FAQs

Why don't I see the page I deleted?

PhotoBiz stores only the last 15 deleted pages. As additional pages are deleted, older pages are removed from the recoverable list.

A page will also no longer appear if it was permanently deleted from the Deleted Pages area.

If the page is no longer listed, it cannot be restored using the Deleted Pages tool.

Can I restore a block that I deleted from a page?

No. Deleted Pages restores full website pages only.

If you delete an individual block, such as a Text Editor Block, Images Block, Form Block, or Button Block, you will need to add the block again and recreate its content.

Can I use Deleted Pages to store old pages?

No. The Deleted Pages area is intended for recovering recently deleted pages and should not be used as an archive. You can use the Disabled page status to turn off a page but hold on to the content in your account control panel.

Because PhotoBiz stores only the last 15 deleted pages, older pages can be removed from the recoverable list as additional pages are deleted.

Where does my restored page appear?

Restored pages appear at the bottom of your Website Builder page list.

You can move the restored page to another location after recovery.

Why isn't my restored page showing in my website navigation?

Review the restored page's visibility setting and its position in your Website Builder page list. Adjust these settings as needed so the page appears where you want visitors to find it.

Can I permanently delete a page from Deleted Pages?

Yes. Open Deleted Pages, check the box next to the page you want to remove, and use the delete option.

Once a page is permanently deleted from the Deleted Pages area, it cannot be restored using this tool.
