Overview
PhotoBiz Marketing allows you to send a test version of an email campaign before sending the live campaign to your selected contacts. This gives you an opportunity to review the subject line, text, images, buttons, links, and overall layout from a recipient’s point of view.
Test emails do not count toward your monthly marketing email total. They also do not include an unsubscribe option because they are previews and are not sent as live marketing campaigns.
This guide explains how to send a test email from an existing campaign in your PhotoBiz Marketing Campaign Builder.
Before you begin, make sure you have created an email marketing campaign in your PhotoBiz account.
The campaign does not need to be sent before you can send a test email.
Log in to your PhotoBiz account and click MARKETING in the left-side menu.
This opens your Marketing Dashboard, where you can manage email campaigns, contacts, and other marketing tools.
Click EMAIL CAMPAIGNS at the top of the Marketing Dashboard.
The Campaign Builder displays the email marketing campaigns you have created in your account.
Click the name of the email campaign you want to test.
You can use the search tool to locate the campaign if you have several campaigns in your account.
Review the campaign content before continuing. Check your subject line, text, images, buttons, links, and overall layout.
Click SEND in the upper-right corner of the campaign editor.
The Send settings panel will open on the right side of your screen.
Click EMAIL TEST at the top of the Send settings panel.
This option sends a preview of the campaign without sending the live campaign to your contacts.
Enter the email address where you want to receive the test campaign in the Send a test to field.
To send the test to multiple people, separate each email address with a comma. You can send a test email to up to five email addresses at one time.
Click SEND after entering the email address or addresses. A confirmation message will appear when the test email has been sent successfully.

Check the receiving inbox and review the test campaign. Sending a test email does not send the campaign to your contact list or count toward your monthly marketing email total.
Before sending the live campaign, confirm that:
Send the test to more than one email service when possible, such as Gmail, Apple Mail, Outlook, or Yahoo Mail. Email designs may display slightly differently depending on the email service, device, and screen size.
After making changes in the Campaign Builder, send another test email to review the updated version.
A test email is a private preview sent only to the email addresses you enter. It is not treated as a live email marketing campaign, so it does not include an unsubscribe option.
When you send the live campaign, PhotoBiz automatically adds an unsubscribe option at the bottom of the email.
Why did I not receive my test email?
Check your spam or junk folder first. You should also confirm that the email address was entered correctly in the Send a test to field.
When sending the test to multiple people, ask each recipient to check their spam or junk folder.
Can I send more than one test email?
Yes. You can send a test email as many times as needed while reviewing and editing your campaign. Test emails do not count toward your monthly marketing email total.
Does sending a test email send the campaign to my contacts?
No. The EMAIL TEST option sends the campaign only to the email address or addresses entered in the test field.
Your contacts will not receive the campaign until you complete the regular sending process.
Can I send the test email to more than one person?
Yes. You can send a test email to up to five email addresses at one time. Separate each address with a comma in the Send a test to field.
