Overview
Your PhotoBiz Website Package includes Client Galleries and Pop-Ups. You can use the Pop-Up Builder to add a Client Galleries Assistant pop-up that appears when clients visit their gallery.
The Client Galleries Assistant pop-up includes a pre-recorded PhotoBiz tutorial video designed to help your clients use their client gallery and complete their image selections or purchase with ECommerce. You can choose a full walkthrough that explains how to view images, mark favorites, leave comments, navigate the gallery, and use key gallery features. You can also choose a purchasing tutorial that shows clients how to place an order from their Client Gallery.
This guide walks you through how to preview the available tutorial videos, create a Client Galleries Assistant pop-up, customize the pop-up, choose where it appears, and publish it.
Before you begin, make sure you have access to the Marketing Dashboard in your PhotoBiz account.
You should also have Client Galleries set up if you want to display the pop-up inside an active gallery.
Log in to your PhotoBiz account and click MARKETING in the left-side menu.
This opens the Marketing Dashboard, where you can manage Pop-Ups and other marketing tools for your account.
Click POP-UP BUILDER at the top center of the Marketing Dashboard.
This opens the Pop-Up Builder, where you can create new pop-ups, edit existing pop-ups, and manage where your pop-ups appear.
Click the NEW POP-UP button.
This opens the available pop-up template options. These templates help you start with a pre-built pop-up instead of creating one from scratch.
On the right-side menu, scroll down to the CLIENT GALLERIES TUTORIALS section.
You can preview both PhotoBiz tutorial videos in this guide before choosing which Client Galleries Assistant pop-up you want to use.
The Full Walkthrough tutorial shows clients how to use the main Client Galleries features, including viewing images, marking favorites, leaving comments, navigating the gallery, and using the gallery tools available to them.
The How To Purchase tutorial shows clients how to purchase from their Client Gallery. This is helpful when you want to guide clients through ordering available products, prints, digital images, packages, or other items offered through the gallery.
After reviewing the tutorial videos, choose the Client Galleries Assistant pop-up option you want to use:
After you choose a tutorial option, the Client Galleries Assistant pop-up is added to your Pop-Up Builder with the selected PhotoBiz tutorial video already included.
Click the EDIT button to customize your pop-up. The right-side menu will open.
You can customize the pop-up content and design so it matches your brand and gives your clients the right message before they begin using their gallery.

The selected PhotoBiz tutorial video is already added for you using a Vimeo embed code. You do not need to add a video yourself if you want to use the pre-recorded PhotoBiz tutorial.
Do not edit or remove the Vimeo embed code unless you want to replace the PhotoBiz tutorial with your own embedded video. If you prefer to use your own tutorial video, you can replace the existing code with embed code from your video provider.
When you are finished editing the pop-up, click SAVE CHANGES at the bottom of the editor. Then click outside the right-side menu to close the editor.
Click the SETTINGS button to choose where and how your pop-up appears.
To show the pop-up only in Client Galleries, set DISPLAY IN BUILDER to Do Not Display. This prevents the pop-up from appearing on your website pages in the Website Builder.
Then set DISPLAY IN CLIENT GALLERIES to All Pages or Specific Category. Choose All Pages if you want the pop-up to appear across your Client Galleries. Choose Specific Category if you only want the pop-up to appear for galleries assigned to a certain category.
You can also adjust the delay time and frequency. Delay time controls how long the system waits before showing the pop-up. Frequency controls how often the pop-up appears for returning visitors.
Click SAVE CHANGES to apply your settings. Then click outside the settings menu to close it.
Click the PUBLISH button.
In the publish settings menu, set your Start Date and Expiration Date. Then click SAVE CHANGES to make your pop-up live.
Your clients will see the pop-up when they visit a Client Gallery where the pop-up is active. The pop-up will appear based on the delay time, frequency, and display settings you selected.
Clients can watch the tutorial video directly in the pop-up before they begin using the gallery. Depending on the tutorial you selected, the video can show them how to view images, mark favorites, leave comments, navigate the gallery, or complete a purchase.
The Client Galleries Assistant pop-up is designed to help your clients feel more comfortable using their gallery. It is especially helpful if your clients are selecting favorites, leaving image comments, or ordering products through their gallery.
Most users can leave the video section as-is and use one of the pre-recorded PhotoBiz tutorial videos. You can still customize the pop-up text, button, colors, fonts, styling, and display settings to match your brand.
If you prefer to use your own tutorial video, you can replace the existing video embed code with embed code from your video provider. This is optional and is not required when using the pre-recorded PhotoBiz tutorials.
You can return to MARKETING, then POP-UP BUILDER, at any time to edit the pop-up. After making changes, click SAVE CHANGES so your updates are applied.
If you want the tutorial to appear only for specific types of galleries, use the Specific Category option under DISPLAY IN CLIENT GALLERIES. This gives you more control over where the tutorial appears.
If you do not want the pop-up to appear on your main website pages, make sure DISPLAY IN BUILDER is set to Do Not Display.
The pop-up is not showing in Client Galleries
Open the pop-up settings and confirm DISPLAY IN CLIENT GALLERIES is set to All Pages or the correct Specific Category.
Also confirm the pop-up has been published. The pop-up will not appear live until you click PUBLISH, set the publish dates, and click SAVE CHANGES.
If the pop-up has an Expiration Date, make sure that date has not passed.
The pop-up is showing on website pages
Open the pop-up settings and check DISPLAY IN BUILDER. Set this option to Do Not Display if you only want the pop-up to appear in Client Galleries.
The video is not displaying
Open the pop-up editor and review the video section. If you are using one of the pre-recorded PhotoBiz Client Galleries tutorial options, the Vimeo embed code should remain unchanged.
If the code was edited or removed, the video may not display correctly. You can create a new Client Galleries Assistant pop-up if you need to start again with the pre-loaded PhotoBiz video.
Can I use my own video instead?
Yes. The Client Galleries Assistant pop-up templates include pre-recorded PhotoBiz videos, but you can replace the existing video embed code with embed code from your own video provider if you prefer to use a custom video.
The pop-up appears too often
Open the pop-up settings and adjust the frequency. This controls how often the pop-up appears for returning visitors.
