How to Mark Emails as Spam in PhotoBiz Mailbox

Overview

PhotoBiz Mailbox includes spam filtering tools to help keep unwanted or suspicious messages out of your inbox. If you receive an email that you believe is spam, you can mark it as spam directly from your mailbox. This moves the message to your Spam folder and helps improve future filtering for similar emails.

This guide will walk you through how to mark an email as spam in your PhotoBiz Mailbox.

STEP ONE

Log in to your PhotoBiz Mailbox at mailbox.photobiz.com using your mailbox email address and password.

Once you are logged in, your inbox will display your received messages.

STEP TWO

Find the email you believe is spam and click on it to open the message.

Before taking action, review the sender and message carefully. Spam emails may come from unknown senders, include unwanted promotions, contain suspicious links, or ask for personal information.

Do not click any links, open attachments, reply to the sender, or provide account details if the email looks suspicious.

STEP THREE

Mark the email as spam using one of the available options in your mailbox.

You can drag and drop the email into your Spam folder. You can also click the More button in the inbox toolbar and select Mark as Spam.

Once marked as spam, the message will move out of your inbox and into the Spam folder.

FINAL STEP

Confirm that the message is no longer in your inbox.

Marking unwanted emails as spam helps your mailbox identify similar messages in the future. This can improve spam filtering over time and help keep your inbox cleaner and safer.

Additional Options or Helpful Notes

Marking an unwanted email as spam is better than simply deleting it. Deleting removes the message, but marking it as spam helps your mailbox recognize similar unwanted emails going forward.

If a legitimate email is accidentally marked as spam, open your Spam folder and move the message back to your inbox.

If an email asks for your password, payment information, account details, or other sensitive information, do not reply or click any links. Mark the message as spam instead.
