How to Paste Text into Your PhotoBiz Website Without Formatting Issues

Overview

Copying and pasting text into your PhotoBiz website is a quick way to add content from Word, Google Docs, another website, or an AI writing tool. Sometimes, pasted text can bring hidden formatting with it, which may cause spacing, fonts, colors, links, or line breaks to display incorrectly.

This guide explains how to paste text as plain text so you can avoid unwanted formatting issues. It also explains how to reset a text editor if formatting problems are already showing, then reapply clean formatting inside PhotoBiz.

You can also use Ask PhotoBiz AI to help rewrite saved text based on your existing content and your business profile brand voice settings.

Where You Can Paste Plain Text

You can paste plain text into many text editing areas in PhotoBiz, including:

  • Text Editor Blocks
  • Text + Image Blocks
  • Blog posts
  • Forms and contracts
  • Email Marketing campaigns

Pasting as plain text is especially helpful when you are moving content from:

  • Word
  • Google Docs
  • Another website
  • Email
  • Notes apps
  • AI writing tools

STEP ONE

Log in to your PhotoBiz account and go to the area where you want to add or update text.

This may be a page in your Website Builder, a blog post, a form or contract in your Forms Dashboard, or an email campaign in your Marketing Dashboard.

STEP TWO

Copy the text from your original source.

Your source may be a Word document, Google Doc, older website page, email, notes app, or AI writing tool. Copy the text you want to add before returning to your PhotoBiz editor.

STEP THREE

Click inside the PhotoBiz text editor where you want the text to appear. Paste the text as plain text using the keyboard shortcut for your device.

Windows or PC users can use CTRL + SHIFT + V.

Apple or Mac users can use SHIFT + COMMAND + V.

This removes most extra formatting from the original source so the text can display more cleanly inside PhotoBiz.

STEP FOUR

Use the PhotoBiz editor toolbar to format your text the way you want it to appear.

After the text has been pasted as plain text, you can apply your preferred fonts, sizes, colors, headings, links, bullet points, or numbered lists inside the PhotoBiz editor. This helps keep your formatting consistent with the rest of your website, blog post, form, or email campaign.

FINAL STEP

Save your changes and preview the page, blog post, form, or email campaign to make sure the text displays correctly.

Your updates are applied when you click the Save button. Review the finished content to confirm that spacing, links, headings, and other formatting look the way you want.

Additional Options or Helpful Notes

If your pasted text does not look right, delete the pasted content and try pasting it again as plain text. Then use the PhotoBiz editor toolbar to apply your formatting again.

Depending on the block layout you are using, the same text may display differently on your website. If your text is clean but the layout does not look the way you want, review your block layout options.

For best results, avoid copying heavily styled content directly from another website, Word document, or design tool. Pasting as plain text first gives you a cleaner starting point and helps prevent hidden formatting issues.

Using Ask PhotoBiz AI After Pasting Text

After you paste existing text into a supported text field and save it, you may be able to use Ask PhotoBiz AI to help rewrite the text.

Ask PhotoBiz AI scans the text already saved in the editor and can rewrite it based on the content you provided. It can also use your business profile brand voice settings to help the revised text better match your brand.

This is useful when you already have rough text, older website copy, notes, or content from an AI writing tool that you want to improve inside PhotoBiz.

Troubleshooting or FAQs

Why does my pasted text look different from the original document?

Text copied from another program may include hidden formatting, such as fonts, spacing, colors, links, or HTML code. Pasting as plain text removes most of that hidden formatting so you can style the text inside PhotoBiz.

Can I paste from AI writing tools into PhotoBiz?

Yes. You can copy text from AI writing tools and paste it into PhotoBiz. For the cleanest result, paste it as plain text first, then use the PhotoBiz editor toolbar to add headings, links, bullet points, or other formatting.

What should I do if my text editor already has formatting problems?

If your text editor is already showing formatting issues, it may help to reset the text area before adding the content again.

First, copy all of the text out of the editor and save it somewhere safe, such as a plain text document or notes app. Then delete the text from the PhotoBiz editor and click Save so the editor is saved blank. After that, paste the text back in as plain text using the keyboard shortcut for your device. Use the PhotoBiz editor toolbar to style the text again, then save your changes.

This can help clear hidden formatting that may have been copied from another program, website, or AI writing tool.

What should I do if the plain text shortcut does not work?

Some browsers, devices, or keyboard settings may handle shortcuts differently. If the shortcut does not work, try right-clicking inside the editor and selecting a plain text paste option if your browser provides one.

You can also paste the text into a plain text editor first, such as Notepad on Windows or TextEdit on Mac using plain text mode. Then copy the text again and paste it into PhotoBiz.

Should I format my text before or after pasting it into PhotoBiz?

For best results, paste your text into PhotoBiz as plain text first. Then use the PhotoBiz editor toolbar to format the content. This helps reduce hidden formatting issues and gives you more control over how the content displays on your website, blog post, form, or email campaign.

Can PhotoBiz AI rewrite text I already pasted?

Yes. If Ask PhotoBiz AI is available in the text editor you are using, you can save your pasted text and then click Ask PhotoBiz AI. PhotoBiz AI can scan the saved text and help rewrite it based on your content and your business profile brand voice settings.
