Overview
PhotoBiz Text Editor Blocks allow you to add written content to your website, including titles, descriptions, headings, and buttons. These blocks are often used for calls to action, welcome messages, service descriptions, and links to other pages on your website.
By default, Text Editor Blocks use your website’s global font settings. You can also customize the font settings for an individual Text Editor Block if you want that section to have a different look.
This guide walks you through how to customize the font, size, spacing, and line height for a Text Editor Block on your PhotoBiz website.
Log in to your PhotoBiz account and click WEBSITE in the left-side menu.
This opens your Website Builder, where you can manage your website pages and content blocks.
Click the page that contains the Text Editor Block you want to customize.
Once the page opens, click directly on the text inside the Text Editor Block, or click the pencil icon in the top-right corner of the block. Then click Advanced to open the block’s advanced settings.
Click on the Fonts option in the right-side menu that opens up.
You can easily customize the fonts you're using on your text editor blocks to override your global font settings. You can change the font, font size, letter spacing (kerning), and line height for any of the following items in your text:
Click on Save Changes at the bottom of the control panel menu to apply your changes.
After you finish adjusting your font settings, click Save Changes at the bottom of the control panel menu.
Your changes will automatically apply to the Text Editor Block on your website. There is no separate publish button. After saving, review the page to make sure your text is easy to read and matches the style you want for that section.
Text Editor Block font settings are useful when you want one section of your website to stand out from your global design settings. For example, you may want a call-to-action section to use a larger heading, different button text size, or more spacing between lines.
Common reasons to customize Text Editor Block fonts include:
For the most consistent design, use custom font settings only when needed. If you want your entire website to use the same fonts, update your global font settings instead.
If your font changes do not look the way you expected, return to the Text Editor Block and review each font category. Make sure you adjusted the correct text area, such as TITLE, PARAGRAPH, or BUTTON TEXT.
If the text still appears unchanged after saving, refresh your browser. Your browser may temporarily show an older version of the page.
