How To Edit Your Website Meta Data
This video tutorial will walk you through the steps of customizing the SEO meta data in your PhotoBiz website.
You can easily edit the meta data for every page in your PhotoBiz website. You can edit the meta title, meta description, and meta keywords.
Meta data is what tells Google how your website should be categorized. Each page on your website should have its own, unique metadata that clearly describes the content of the page and focuses on the who, what, and where of your business. This guide will walk you through the steps on how to edit the meta data for your PhotoBiz website.
STEP ONE
Log into your PhotoBiz account and click on the WEBSITE tab in left side menu.
STEP TWO
Click on the web page you'd like to edit your meta data for and then click on the SEO button on the right side of the page.
STEP THREE
- Click the SEO button in the upper-right corner of the page.
- A menu will open on the right side, displaying your meta data options.
By default, your meta settings are set to AUTO. This means:
- Meta Title: Uses your site name (from the Tracking section of the Website control panel) and the navigation name of your page.
- Meta Description: Pulls from the text content on your page.

STEP FOUR
You have two options for customizing meta data:

Option 1: Ask PhotoBiz AI
- Use the ASK PHOTOBIZ AI tool to generate a unique meta title and description.
- Provide a prompt to the AI, and it will create suggestions for you.
- Review the results and save any changes.

Option 2: Create Your Own
- Select the Custom option to manually enter your meta title, description, and keywords.
- Use the built-in character counter and search engine preview to optimize your entries.
FINAL STEP
After customizing your meta data, click SAVE CHANGES at the bottom of the SEO settings to apply updates.
Repeat these steps for every page on your website to ensure each page has unique, optimized meta data.
Best Practices for Meta Data
Meta Title
- Keep it brief and accurate (55-60 characters).
- Should describe your website and business clearly.
- Example: Jenny Jones Wedding Photography | Greater Los Angeles Area
Meta Description
- Summarize your page’s content (50-155 characters).
- Helps search engines and users understand your page before they click.
- Example: Jenny Jones is a PPA-certified photographer specializing in wedding and engagement photography. Serving the greater Los Angeles area.
Meta Keywords
- Use no more than 15 relevant keywords or phrases per page.
- Separate them with commas.
- Example: Jenny Jones Wedding Photography, Los Angeles Wedding Photography, Los Angeles Wedding Portraits

Customize your page’s URL for better readability. Click the Friendly URL dropdown, select Custom, and enter a URL using only letters, numbers, and hyphens. -
