If your customers are seeing the error message "key [LOCATIONID] doesn’t exist" when trying to make a payment, don’t worry! This just means your Square integration needs to be updated. Follow these quick steps to reconnect your Square merchant and get everything running smoothly.
STEP ONE
Log In to Your PhotoBiz Account and in the left-side menu, click ECOMMERCE.
STEP TWO
At the top of the control panel, mouse over PAYMENT. In the drop-down menu, click MERCHANTS.
STEP THREE
Click directly on the name of your Square merchant. The name will likely be "Credit Card - Square."
STEP FOUR
Click the "reconnect" button on this page
STEP FIVE
A new window will open with instructions, log in to your Square account.
Square will ask you to update permissions so PhotoBiz can access your merchant information and process payments. Click ALLOW to update your permissions.
Once you do this, you’ll see a confirmation message letting you know your connection was successful. 🎉
FINAL STEP
Back in your PhotoBiz Merchant Settings, look for the "Active" option.
Select YES to activate your Square merchant.
Click SAVE CHANGES at the bottom of the page.
If everything is set up correctly, you’ll now see your Location ID on this page.
Your clients can refresh their checkout page and they'll be able to complete their purchase using your Square merchant account.
