Bulk downloads are an alternative to single-image downloads. When a bulk download is initiated in a Client Galleries event, .zip file with all of the images in the gallery or favorites will be created. This is an easy way to download several images at once instead of choosing individual files that automatically download to your device in a .png or .jpg format. Instead, bulk downloads will be in a .zip file format and will need to be extracted to access.
Bulk downloads are recommended on a desktop or laptop computer because they require more space and download speed and will need to be extracted from their .zip format, in some cases. If you or your clients are having trouble opening the .zip file, here are helpful links to the most common devices and how to open a .zip file:
STEP ONE
Open the gallery that you would like to bulk download images from. The Client Gallery event will need to have free downloads turned on.

You can choose favorites that you want to bulk download or download the entire gallery.
STEP TWO
Select favorites (if you’re not downloading favorites, skip to Step 3)
If you want to download favorites, favorite the images you want to download. There is a heart icon in the bottom right corner of each image in the grid view.
In the large image view, there is a menu icon in the top right corner. Click that and a side menu will slide out. At the top, there is a download button.
STEP THREE
Download!
Depending on which image view you or your client are currently looking at, the download button will be in a different spot. After clicking the download button/icon, it will ask for an email for tracking purposes.
If you’re in the grid view, there is a download icon in the top right corner
In the large image view, there is a menu icon in the top right corner and you’ll see the download icon on the side panel at the top.
STEP FOUR
Get your files via email
After clicking the download icon and entering your email, you can start your download in the side panel that slides out. You will select, the gallery name which may just be “Gallery,” favorites or both and click on “start download”
You will arrive at a screen that looks like this.
The files will be sent via email or you can download them right from the page once the file is created.
PRO TIP!
The .zip file link which will show up in an email or on the page will only last 7 days. After 7 days, the link will expire and no longer work for downloads. We recommend strongly advising that your customers download their .zip file ASAP before the download link expires.
