PhotoBiz ECommerce allows you to set up county-specific sales tax lines to collect appropriate sales tax from your clients based on their location and your local tax requirements. This guide will walk you through the steps to add county-specific sales tax lines for your ECommerce, Quotes & Invoices, Scheduler, Form Payments, and Client Galleries.
Important Note: PhotoBiz Support cannot advise you on the proper sales tax rates for your area. It is important to check with a local tax expert to ensure that you are collecting the appropriate tax rates for online sales in the State/Province and Country that you are located in.
STEP ONE
Log into your PhotoBiz account and click on ECOMMERCE in the left-side menu.
STEP TWO
Mouse over the PAYMENTS tab at the top center of the Ecommerce control panel and click on TAXES in the drop down menu that opens.
STEP THREE
Click on the NEW TAX LINE button to add a new tax line for the county tax you're going to collect.
STEP FOUR
Configure your County Tax by entering a name for it, the Sales Tax Rate, choosing your State, and entering your County Name, and whether or not you want to apply sales tax to shipping. Click on Add Tax Line to create your county tax.
You can repeat these steps to add any additional county taxes you need to collect for your Ecommerce.
Your Sales Taxes for clients who are located in that county will automatically apply to the order at check out.
